Saul (Egil Hovland) - SC Governor's School Cantus Chamber Choir
SC Governor's School Cantus Chamber Choir in rehearsal for the Spring Concert April 29, 2010. Daniel Chapel, Furman University, Greenville, South Carolina.
It is a better version, I must agree, however, I do have some critiques...
When the choir says "Saul", in the beginning, where the Sopranos and Altos
have their unison part, it sounds like a hissing sound, not fast enough off
the S. Plus, they're too loud. It's supposed to sound almost inaudible. The
choir I'm in has the same problem. Plus, you have ten seconds to get double
forte. Hurry!
FINALLY! A version that is done correctly and doesn't suck. Thank you! I
did this song my Junior year of high school, and I can never find a version
that did the song in the same tempo as we did. This tempo builds tension
and the creeps. Good job!
