the person who responded to you gave you false information. in the NFL, a good hang is at least 4.5 seconds , not around 4. and the distance has to be 45 yards not including a 15 yard snap. techincally a nice ball would go 55-60 yrds from your foot to where it hits the gorund.

For everyone who is hating on him.. He has a strong leg.. Not crazy powerful but strong but the reason he has the number one rank is because when he has a good hold . He doesnt miss. I have been to 5 plus camps where ive seen or heard of him going 25 for 25 out to about 60

Everyone is talking about this Austin Rehkow kid, but honestly, he made one good field goal. That doesn't make him the best. This kid is hitting 50yarders after 50. I'm pretty sure he has more skill.

It was off a tee.. basically like a kick off. Not really incredible. And on Highschool uprights so there is a lot more room for error, unlike these uprights.

Personally, I've always kicked better off of the ground. Don't have to adjust for the added height unless the weather is poor, then a very short tee is nice.
