People keep saying when they hear Jeff Mangum that they can't beleive how much beautiful music is created by just a man and his guitar. I think the stories he creates in his music and his own are so deep and intertwined that these songs are almost like pages in his diary, and when we see the diary stop, we just want him back.

Saw him perform this song in october in my hometown of Columbus, Ohio, it was amazing. There is a video of it on the NMH facebook page. He looks somewhat the same and still has the unique voice. Really was an amazing experience because this is one of my favorite songs ever.

Where was the video where he was in that same performance but he was playing "In the Aeroplane Over the Sea". Specifically Jeff looked like he was about to fuck Scott with a cactus because he was messing up the trumpet solo so much in that song.

Amazing song, I'm trying to learn it right now. Could anybody tell me if he uses a capo or not for this song? My monitor is fucked and I can't tell. What I'm playing just sounds slightly off...

When I say "stop condemning" the Muslims, I mean stop accusing them of being dirty sinners.  They are not so.  In the Bible the believers "preached Jesus" and good men believed and the Holy Ghost fell on them.  What can you accuse them of sin-wise?  They are not sinning.  They are faithful to their spouses, don't watch trash TV or trash movies -- although now that they are forced to flee their countries and come to the U.S. they are becoming corrupted like we are here.  Revelation and Jeremiah 50 and 51 says Babylon the Great (which is the United States) is exporting the "wine of her fornication."  And "the nations are mad."  

You are a heretic, teaching works like Cain, as a means to salvation, but its Cain who was a picture of a blood rejecting unbeliever who trusted in his own works to be made righteous by God.. Abel was a picture of a believer who placed his faith in the LAMB of God for eternal forgiveness.. Matt 7'21-23, speaks about false teachers such as yourself, who trust in their own righteousness as a means to salvation, as the LAMB of God who shed his blood, turns you away, because like Cain, you trusted in your own works for salvation, rejecting his blood for eternal forgiveness... You might as well to preach outside the Roman Catholic Church, because you'd be more than welcome in there, as you teach the very same false works gospel of DAMNATION..

I have said that women should not be pastors or elders in the church but have never said that women should not witness, testify or preach in the open air or on the streets.

Many of us agree a woman should not pastor a church. Evangelizing is trying to save the lost from going to eternal torment. For myself I agree with scripture that women should not become pastors or chaplains. ( :

Shakira, maybe you need to get saved, salvation is a free gift not something you earn.. Cain tried to earn his way with his works, but God rejected him, Cain rejected that he was a sinner.. How do we know this? because Cain rejected the fact that the blood of a substitute lamb a picture of the Savior, had to die in his place on the alter so that he could be forgiven..Abel had done right unto God, as he admitted that he was a sinner, and we know this because he shed the blood of a lamb, which pictured Christ the Savior, to die in his place for his sins on the alter.. +david fleming It's true, but not enough! A lot of people in Jesus Christ & maybe have asked to forgive their sins, but have NOT live a righteous life for Jesus! Do you that even Satan believe in Jesus Christ? The difference is Satan can't live holy no more, but believes that Jesus is God! Repentance does not mean to turn from your sins, it means to change our minds about who Jesus is and how we are in need of his salvation, because we are sinners and he is the only one who is righteous and able to eternally forgive, all who believe in him..If you could turn from your sins, then there would be no need for a perfect sinless Savior to come and save you from your sins..God repented many times in the bible which is a change of mind, from destroying a disobedient people nation who also repented by repenting, changing their mind to come in to agreement with the word of the Lord, instead of trusting in their own righteousness...God repented, but God cannot be tempted by sin, thus, this proves that repentance is not turning from sins, but a change of ones mind, about Gods word, by receiving his word as truth, instead of rejecting his word as truth and making him a liar..One who is rejecting Jesus Christ as the Savior, is rejecting the word of truth, and is making God a liar.. All liars shall have their part in the lake of fire..One who receives the word of truth, has received Jesus who is the word, the free gift of eternal life to humanity...  Please read the context of scripture which proves this fact..

+david fleming I believe that repentence is a change of mind, but an action that we all have to do in order to be saved, ok? Repentence means to turn from your sins & confess to the Lord that you are a sinner & that you believe that Jesus died on the cross for you & me & was rose from the grave three days. After you believe, then you have to get baptized in water & to be baptized in the Holy Spirit in order to live a godly lifestyle.

You are a false teacher, telling that young girl that if she has sex before marriage that she will go to hell.. Why didn't you give her the good news, you hypocrite, you try to put that young girl under the bondage of the law.. We are not called to keep the 10 commandments to get saved, this is impossible, and the commandment is to believe on Christ to receive him as the Savior.. God warns you not to corrupt the simplicity of his word..
