I love Samantha's vids though as a French and Spanish speaker I cringe whenever she travels to those countries and mispronounce the simplest words, and I can only imagine how she botches other languages...her bubbly personality makes up for it though.

She's the woman I love to hate. She clearly has a lot of enthusiasm, but she is not an expert like Rick Steves. She is essentially an attractive woman who happens to travel a lot instead of a travel expert. You rarely see her entering museums. Conversely, she loves to get wasted. Whenever she goes to a European city, she goes to a bar or pub. I also live in the Big Apple. Incidentally, I was born in Brooklyn. DUMBO, Williamsburg, and Park Slope are nice areas.

Maybe because the producer of her show doesn't want to have another travel show like Rick Steves? They want something a bit different. If somebody want to watch some travel show like Rick, they would just watch his show, right?

What are you talking about? Im a female in my 20s and travel a lot and i watch Samantha shes by far the best on all the tips and great personality. if you don't like her why are you watching this video? you sound bitter about your life,why don't you go travel so you can learn to appreciate Samantha. I don't need a hot man on T.V to watch and learn things, go to a strip club if that's what your looking for.

I JUST MET HER YESTERDAY AT TRAVEL EXPO IN DC AND SHE IS VERY NICE AND SOCIABLE, IF THE TRAVEL CHANNEL WAS IN THE DICTIONARY, THEY SHOULD HAVE HER NAME OR PICTURE ON IT.
