It looks to me like some sort of Buteos hawk. Maybe, just maybe a Golden Eagle. There is no dihedral, so I don't think it's a turkey vulture. The 2nd bird that ...
The primary flight feathers are too spread the be a Buteos Hawk. Buteos
also tend to have shorter wings compared to body size. The second bird has
the pronounced "V" dihedral and longer narrower tail. That's definitely a
Vulture. The first bird really appears to have the typical Golden Eagle
form. Spread primaries, large "crescent moon" tail, ever watchful head
tilt, streamlined wings from joint to joint (Buteos wing tips curve down
toward feet level, vulture shoulder joints bend up so the wings spread at
beak level, and Golden Eagle wings spread out gracefully at neck level).. I
think it's safe to say that that is a Golden Eagle. Looks like you found
your lucky charm..
+mountaindewdude76 thanks :) I also want to buy a few small 4s lipo's for the same reason. my 4s flight it is at 8:32 and im using a heavy 175g 1600mah 4s
That's very cool! I love these lil fun-fighter planes. I really need to invest in some small 4S batteries so that I can push my plane a bit faster. I was impressed with how your plane flew. That was great!!!
Thank you Derek :) I'm really enjoying flying this little plane. I can't imagine a better way to use an old broken noob tube. Thanks for posting the video of your green plane, a foamboard funfighter is a good idea and I wouldn't have built this plane otherwise :) btw the 4s and 5x5 seems like a good match and I was only using a 30a esc. I was careful with my throttle usage though :) this is still the same old motor I've been using in all my videos. I can't believe it isn't broken or burned out yet.
CX-1 scratch built rc motor glider using foamboard armin wing cf2812 motor
Another couple flights with my new scratch built glider, the CX-1 For these flights I used a 29 gram 2s 500mah battery. I was running an 8x3.8 sf prop. I balanced ...
Your glider looks perfectly balanced, especially with a 2 cell 500mah,
most folks have to add weight to nose but then again your nose was very
long. need some close ups.
I just built something similar using fiberglass arrow shafts to attach the
fuselage to the tail. Really fun slow flying glider

Thanks to nightstone @ rcgroups for designing this plane and sharing it. This video shows the maiden flight and second flight. This is a rudder, elevator, throttle ...
