i could see your view of it as revolutionary only if he did not attempt to kill a child, a black child at that. i actually attended school with the child that they shot... and it left serious negative affects on his esteem. i do agree that they should not die, because you don't take a life to justify someone else taking a life, but they should be punished. it is NEVER ok to shoot a child. period.
