hallo.i am from Germany my question is the engine light comes when i turn
iginition on and off after start engine is that normal?
but some other Golf 4 has not come engine light on when the ignition is on
even the program box is the same. I drive a HW xerun 150a sensored with a
2000 of HW sensored motor on a lightweight 1/5 scale homebuild chassis.
goes up to 100 kmh+
+Doktor R.C. I have both an XERUN 150a and this ESC, the programming boxes are not the same, nor are they compatible. There's really only so many ways to design a box with a screen and 4 buttons.
just put the castle mamba monster 2 combo 2200 in my kraton and the 2650
combo in typhon and all i can say is holy shit what a difference, the
typhon pulls wheel stands
on the box it had 1:10scale also, just wondering about what is better this
one or the one you put in that Slash on a budget with the white JCONCEPTS
body? Have a good one!
+Aussie RC Playground Thank you for your reply... I have a Slash Platinum, all stock except RPM A-ARMS and Bumpers, my motor is running hot, Traxxas said to change my pinion or spur gear I can't remember. I was just thinking if it did burn up what is my best option. I love what you did to the Slash. I am going to order the body you got for it. thanks again, big fan Love your videos, still want you to jump the 2 fences!
+Juno Mac RC This combo is more for 1/8 scale trucks & buggies, while the one I used in the Slash is suited for for slightly lighter vehicles such as SCTs. Plus, with over 3000kv, the motor used in the Slash wouldn't even work right in a 1/8 scale truggy like the Talion. You could, however, use this combo in the Slash, but why would you? It's too big, heavy and works best on at least 4S, which means modifying the Slash's battery tray to fit bigger batteries.
I have the ZTW version, got it direct from ZTW before they had any USA
distributors two years ago. They have OEM'ed Hobbyking ESCs in the past, so
you're likely right about them being the OEM again, especially since the
specs are identical. Including the 8.4v BEC option.
If you have an HV capable servo/rx, I HIGHLY recommend you turn the BEC up
to 8.4v. The difference is incredible!
EDIT: Also, you can plug the USB into the programming card while the ESC is
plugged into it, to use a computer for programming. The options don't
change any compared to the LCD card itself, but that's how it works.
+Eerik Karlov I don't have the Hobbyking version, so I can't be 100% sure. You may want to contact ZTW directly about it. The email I have for them is sales2 (at) ztwoem (dot) com.
+Pyro60000 Can you confirm that Hobbyking X-car beast series ESC can be programmed with ZTW programming card. Hobbyking allready for couple month out of stock. Desperatly need programm my ESC and want to purchase ZTW card
