Aside from VR Missions, I can't decide which game I like the least. I love
them all so much. That said, I do still like VR missions a lot, just not
anywhere near the other games.

@GOTAGaming "Originally titled The Game Room and presented by Mark Bussler
and David Crosson, it was the first professional video game review show on
the Internet. Founded by Bussler, it launched on November 7, 1999 on the
internet startup website FromUSAlive,[1] with the review of Metal Gear
Solid: VR Missions (erroneously called "Metal Gear VR Missions" in the
review) and Driver for the PlayStation." -Wikipedia :D
They should try making more realistic emotions on the characters, on the
newer games, for example some guys would react differently, and also
improve the hearing, because the games doesn't have like a hearing program
for each character, would be good, also vibrations, if something blows up
near they should also be able to detect it.
I was born in 95. I never got into old FPS games unfortunately. Because I
have no nostalgia for Doom and such I probably couldn't get into it. I've
never tried it though. My first FPS was Goldeneye (and I only ever played
it once). The only FPS I've ever been able to get into is Halo. I'm more of
a turn based RPG kinda guy.
Ah yes. Super Mario 64. I remember playing that at my cousin's house (she's
about your age). Later, I got the game on my DS and beat it. I'm more of a
PS1 guy myself. When I was younger, my friend had a PS1 and we would play
toy car racing games. Now I play quite a few PS1 RPGs.
the vr missions were included in the second disc of the mgs on ps1 and in
1999 was re-released as a pc game called mgs integral which the original
mgs (plus a very easy mode) an nuch more virtual training missions... mgs
vr was never released as a game of it's own...
Been playing a lot of this game lately. Lots of fun and looks great on a
large HDTV. The objective based missions are perfect for adults who don't
have 80+ hours to spend on an RPG as progress can be saved after every
mission. Awesome review too!
Ha! I was wondering when it all started. About this game, I'm surprised
that you guys didn't like it. I actually got quite a bit of play out of
this one. I think I finished it, although it was quite challenging.
Well might aswell try it here. I wanted to redo all the VR missions on the
pc but how can I reset everything or delete the savefiles? What do I
do/select/delete? Thanks in advance.
"I'm not sure I like the backgrounds in this game." I'm gonna have to
confiscate your VR disc you little bitch. And by the way, DIAZEPAM isn't
that hard to pronounce.
@TWestT their not reviewing the vr missions from mgs1 they r reviewing
metal gear solid : VR Missions which is a full game but i do wish that they
would review mgs1
@puppetmaster983 ''and so the water turned to beer as the game of bazerk on

You guys should do a review for Metal Gear Solid portable ops, sons of
liberty, Snake eater or peace walker

why is this guy going so fast, hes not even showing us how he did it, and
this is a cheap metal gear solid game, because when you select something
the gun fire doesn't sound right, and evry time when he makes the goal, the
music has an echo when it plays. you are so cheap, he probably has
a PlayStation 1, which was so 1998
Do you have some programmable joystick or are you using some autohotkey
setting software? Because your shooting button time is very fast also on
1:45:14 that knocking 6 times on the wall took you only 200 miliseconds /
12 frames.
Anyway it looks like you are playing that game on an emulator so is hard to
say it was a fair playing.
+TheBugError The best way to think about it is this: imagine console speedrunning as a sport and Tool-Assisted Speedrunning as an artform. I do plenty of both; TASing is the art of pushing a game to its theoretical limit. Every input I make in a TAS is theoretically doable by a human with perfect reflexes, though obviously the chances of this happening are pretty much slim to none. The emulator I used for this run is called PSXjin, though it's no longer accepted by TASvideos (having since been obsoleted by BizHawk). For more information on the differences between the two, please visit //tasvideos.org/WelcomeToTASVideos.html
@eion37 because it challenges you. You play this game, you beat all the
levels, and once you go back to the Original Metal Gear Solid, you'll
realize that all you've learned has made you a lot better at the game.
you have to wait until the sai is charged (purple glowing), then the next
time you use any attack with triangle it will stun the enemy. you can just
press triangle, you can jump then triangle, you can square square triangle,
doesn't matter really
After trying and failing over and over again, I saw your video, failed, saw
the video, failed, until I got it! Thank you so much for this video! B) I
did it in 3:56.80 and I won't play that mission again for sure XD
If you successfully counter one mastiff, you'll do an execution where you
grab his leg and swing him around. If you're lucky enough to whack the
other mastiff while swinging the first one, that's a free kill :)
i am amazed how fast u dispatched of those 2 mastiffs man. quick question,
what kind of combo are u doing to single targets most of the time? do u
just mash the square button?
yeah, i know that, but still it belongs to the same franchise...and Kojima
might think "hey, that works, let's put some features of this into the new
Solid-game" ^^
Perfect parrys, time the block just before you get hit and Raiden will
follow up with an attack. leads to the triangle + circle finisher on most
enemies.
actually I dunno if I should like the new gameplay (because it looks
awesome), or if I should worry about what they do have done to the
MG-franchise...
