Dirty Money ep04 - Refurbished neon sign, and a dart board in a cabinet
Probably the best of the Trash to Cash genre of TV programmes. Featuring Jimmy DiResta as the creative genius, John DiResta as the financial negotiator and ...
The 'lead talent' on this show once bought a loaf of bread for a dollar
fifty. He proceded to burn 'DiResta' on every single slice for 'branding'
purposes'. Said loaf was sold, moldy as shit, with freshish sand-lot dirt
in the same paper bag, for $75 to.....the Discovery Channel. Some dumbass
then paid $1,200,000 for the episode.
They then distributed $1,500 among twelve lucky passerby to buy other
'exciting shit' from a particular, lone vendor they pointed to. Suffice to
say, the episode and 'all of the events the writers imagined' came true
that day, against all odds. Praise dollar, the god of success.
+ghosttwo2 Seriously though. DiResta had his own, first-born child. He then tattoo'd, with a homemade gair-needle-gun, 'DiResta' on the infants' forehead and each cheek, In thick TNR letters, and all in the goddamned mortuary, just so random passerby would know he made it. Sick. Although this crime on humanity required many tools, 'DiResta' was burned and stamped into every single drill and screwdriver because, hey, that's how you 'establish a brand' and make 'New York money'. Just dub your over-skilled nephew 'Rat Boy' and you get an overskilled discovery pilot.P.s. I'm 'Captain Jackoff', and boy do I have a skill that will entice your audience. Particularly the female and gay demographics.
"I got a swollen triptych on my taint. I got no insurance." John is SO
funny! Jimmy's genius could carry this kind of show but John really puts
it over the top.
+Joe Doesntcareaboutthis yeah didn't Jimmy say something about that on the podcast? I feel bad for the neon dude who probably put that 400 bucks back into his materials.
well... knowing diresta's work... more like the sign was pre-ordered, or already bought or something. they could have even called him that very same day and agree on the price beforehand, but he shows at the flea market and haggles and buys it for show purposes.
On 9 May 2012 Kaptan June's Hut was relocated to one of the concrete platforms in Iztzuzu forest. After that the Hut was refurbished and a new mural was ...
