-In the 80s when the IRA were active Bishops move hired Irish casuals using false names because most of the casuals Irish or English were signing on the DHSS we used to do Army Barracks & no checks were ever done on us workers. I had a very hard time working for Bishops Move my House was raided by Police searching for stolen goods because I was on a job for just one day out of a 5-day removal I was taken to a Police station for 6 hours & questioned on this job I had access to pump action shot guns etc I do not know if any fire arms were stolen, the police informed me that Bishops Move was the second worst company for thieving I understand now they give bonuses if theft isn’t reported. I was also questioned over a murder enquiry where a customer was killed & found in a wardrobe I am sure we were all under surveillance. Therefore, you see it is not easy working for a removal company maybe its better if you are a criminal & tough. I had many more instances of things being stolen. Bishops move dismissed me because I would not work with a violent person who served time for violence this is what I got for many years of hard-dedicated work for this company taking the entire shit thrown at me. Low pay no pension no sick pay what a great company.
