Can someone help me out? I was told a few months ago that I apparently have
mild Asbergers but I don't really have any symptoms besides having kind of
narrow interests and having a hard time telling when someone is flirting
with me. Like it literally makes so sense...
+Everythinggirly95 There is different traits in different people.. I have a few of them traits with my problem. But some are really differentAlso females tend to get it differently from men I believe
So I pretty much self diagnosed myself with Asperger.. My doctor told my
mom thats more than likely what I have and After doing some research on
Asperger It sounds just like me. Maybe one day Ill be actually able to be
diagnosed with it from a doctor but 2000 dollars its something my family
can afford anytime soon
I do have Asperger's. Yet I forced myself to appear "normal" for the sake
of propriety and to be able to make eye contact with people, no matter how
bad I felt. I don't think one can ever categorize Asperger's. It is a
massive spectrum and we still don't understand it. And there is no cure.
+Benjamin-Hugh Mackay then why are you worried about it that reminds me of the song jimmy cracked corn and I don't care if they didn't care why did they write a fuckin song about it
It's weird, because I have so many symptoms that indicate Asperger's but
also a lot that indicate ADD. But from my understanding, those two are
opposites.
Actually, many people with Asperger's syndrome have ADHD or ADD. We still don't know why these disorders are correlated but it is probable that you have both.
This video just pissed me off... The fact that you chose to put it up as a
disease, illness and that we suffer just show how little you know.
Therefor, don't make these videos if your facts isn't right! I'm an aspie
and I'm completely fine! Aspergers is NOT a disease, it's NOT an illness
and we do NOT suffer!
Also about doing poorly in school is not completely true. Yes, there might
be some, but many of us aspies are actually pretty clever. The hospital
here tested me in everything and normally you would get 10 in all those
test, I got 11, 13, 15 and 12. Only in one I got 8. U say we are good at
patterns? As before, yes there might be some, but the one I got 8 in was
with patterns.
You can't just say that these are the normal things to look after, cause it
depends on the person?
I agree with you on the first part however if we were to evaluate each and single case of Asperger's, record each different symptoms and then put in into a video, it would be long. As a matter of fact, Aspies do tend to see patterns more easily than the norm. I do hope that everyone here knows that every aspie will not have all the symptoms talked about, may have other symptoms and that this is a gross generalisation.
Wow... I stopped watching when it called Asperger's a disease.
IT'S NOT A FUCKING DISEASE, I'm not sick, there isn't anything "wrong" with
me. You clearly don't know anything about it. Fuck you
+Marguerite WrightBefore someone makes a video to try and inform others about a topic, whether it's this or something else, they should make sure to get their facts straight, especially what the thing they're talking about actually is.
+Redstar2613 While the video person may have made an error in how they called it, they still made valid observations. I, too, found it a tad offensive, but have learned that NTs may not always get it and it is ok to make mistakes or have misconceptions. The best way to address it is open dialogue and open mindedness. Just my opinion.
