I visited Blue Mars about a year or so ago. Pretty nice virtual world.
Unfortunately it still has a lof of shortcomings that will keep it from
becoming a serious contender to secondlife. The limitations places on
builders is one. The biggest though is probably the use of cryengine.
Although its a fantastic engine its also limited to one platform while many
of the creative class people that are interested in such things as BM use
Macs. The controls for navigation were very poor also.
