Yeah the Visa was required at the border and it was free.. Be advised that Mexico border guards may want to search your vehicle and make you unpack everything for inspection.. We got lucky and they waived us through once I had my visa in hand, but others around us had to unload Everything!
That's way better I know that V8 will kill me Btw when You stop at the border once you to cross in Mexico and you go to get the vehicle permit before that you have to stop in immigration right? so you can get the permission to stay in Mexico does that have a fee? or they just stamp your passport and you good to go ?
This was when gas was $4 dollars a gallon and the Durango has a V8 engine, so it will depend on your vehicle & distance to the border from your locale..
oh wow so probably I'll be spending more gas that I was planingI might hit de road tomorrow morning. lol but of course that is a Durango I'm driving a Mazda Big Difference.
