Smoking Out Taillights In Layers With Clear Coat (((SUBSCRIBE IF YOU LIKE)))
smoking out taillights lightly on a white kia soul in layers applying heat so liquid will stick between layers gauranteed not to chip or fade away email me at ...
Why not just do it the right way with clear coat and black paint?? Not the
rattle can bullshit you see here. Your shit looks faded and it's not
guaranteed. If I were to take any kind of solvent to those the shit would
just wipe off. I hope your customers see this and bring their shit to me
because mine will blow yours out of the water. Btw using heat doesn't
guarantee that it will stick. It just dries it and that's it. Step your
game up.
man, if u woulda done that right even with the clear coat.....the 3erd coat
shoulda blacked em the fuck out.... ive been using VHT for a while now and
i do use clear to paint finish to keep it from fading out but u need to
cross hatch that can so u get the full amount outta it. and like i said not
bad but go slower and closer.....that 3 coat will black it out completly.
I wetsand the tails w/ 800 before I start, then I wetsand w/ 1000 after
every coat of VHT, then clear it w/ automtoive clear. let clear dry 12
hours, then 2 more coats of clear, after the clear dries...wetsand w/ 2000
and buff 3 coats of Rubbing compund, then 3 coats of PlastiX scratch
remover, then 3 coats of Carnuba wax, all with the Buffer. Shines like
GLASS!!!
Cool video..came out looking good..the technique I've done is start with 2
coats of bulldog adhesive promoter then started with the several coats of
tint then one last coat of bulldog then a flat clear or gloss clear with uv
coating and I baked the lights for 10 minutes at 150• degrees..
I wouldn't use a blow dryer because you have more of a chance to blow dirt
or dust into your lights... But over it was alright. I used nightshade, it
only took me 2 coats to look good.
