Drifting takes much more skill than you're giving them credit for. Plus there aren't very RWD subarus out there so it's very distinctive. And in many situations, RWD is actually better for handling than AWD, because on pavement AWD tends to cause understeer. That's why F1 cars are RWD.

Dude that's why they made an "Anti-lag" system. What it does is tunes the timing of the injectors to have an out of piston ignition which keeps the turbo spooled while letting off the gas. That's why there are back fires. This car has won.

As far as I know they have a controllable centre differential, which can be set how to distribute the torque between the front and rear wheels. It can be adjusted to a maximum 59% to the rear.

Indeed :( EL header would be the last thing I did if I had a Scoob, the performance difference will always be smaller than the effect of that iconic rumble from a UEL on the boxer.

I guess this might be a silly question, but I've never drifted. When you pull the handbrake (emergency brake) do you need to lift the clutch? GREAT VIDEO!!! :D

Removing AWD from it killed her and made it shitty like every other car out there. Drifting is for show-offs who wear Monster gear and flat billed hats...

you can drift a awd car - you just need to controle the ratio between the pull on the front and back wheels :)

The front bumper and headlights are fugly as hell. Everything else is cool tho, except the 2tone paint tho. The one thing I do like is the vf22!!! Best early ver. turbos Subaru made. My 98 build is going so slow right now... Just too damn expensive! I'm eFFn poor...lol
