Kentucky Rifle (1955) - Full Length Western Movie in Color
The Kentucky Rifle (1955). A wagon train travels through Indian Territory carrying a load of Kentucky rifles. When a wagon breaks an axle it is left behind to ...
Its sad to say all they are now is a blackfoot cover band . they never will
be as good as the original line up Ricky , Greg, Charlie and jakson
But Ricky is one of my favorite singers of all time
+Jack Priode You Gat That Right... Ricky In His Prime Hands Down Best Front Man... Nobody Had a Voice And a Presence Like Him On The Stage... And Yes His Facial Expressions... Rick Is Bad To The Bone...
+willy286 What's wrong with bassist Greg T. Walker ? He's appears to be the only 'classic' lineup member left. His backing vocals highlight "Train, Train."
I had a chance to see him in Vegas 1975 I passed it up to see Sinatra.
Sinatra had announced his engagement to Barbara Marx & it was to be a
special night & it was. Sinatra celebrated in the Ceasars Palace casino & I
saw the whole party. Now I know I should have gone to see Elvis at the
International Hotel.
Yes. we all are off out med's that's how we know Elvis sang that song live. Have you hear Kentucky Rain recorded? It's nothing like this version and he doesn't speak at the end with announcing I had a record out last year no this year that did pretty good for me I'd like to sing it for you....Joel Mc you need to listen to the way he sings this on stage and the recorded one. Then you can go back on your med's:) Or maybe you need to stay off those med's they cloud your hearing. Any Elvis fan will tell you THIS WAS WHILE HE WAS PERFORMING ON STAGE:)
Apfelprincess45 - I'm not sure what you are listening to. Did you not hear the applause at the end of the song? Did you not hear him talking about about a "new song the recently did well for him?" Who was he walking too if it was a recording? No studio mixer is going to end a studio recording with the artist saying "I had a record out last year that did pretty good for me."
Elvis was a living legend when he opened in Las Vegas which then led to
touring and never took anything for granted. He was nervous about
performing, wondering how the public would react after being away from live
audiences for nearly a decade. He kept his humility, always gave his all in
concert, posed for pictures, signed autographs, and generally let his fans
know that they were responsible for his success. Is it any wonder that they
in turn will never forget what a fine, mannerly, generous, man he was.
I used to listen 2 this ballad on the "tube type" desk radio the hippie kid
up the street gave to me, Junior high, early 70's era. I loved it, but
maybe the station wasn't announcing song names; I didn't know for years it
was Elvis, 'til he was in pants-splitting era, I think... ( Yes, I know
'bout his problem) the "cool, hip, drug / cynicism" music coming on made me
think his was old-timer stuff. When I learned this song was him, surprised
me. Grey bearded men & praying preacher-Timeless!
My all-time favorite Elvis song. Amazing that this (one of the great
all-time story songs) came almost at the end of his career (along with
Burning Love) - yet he was largely shut out from Top 40 radio at this
point. It's also sad that the three biggest musical icons - Elvis, The
Beatles and Michael Jackson - all ended in tragedy, with John Lennon
assasinated by a nut, while Elvis and MJ died of drug related incidents.
Even sadder is that all three never seemed to find true hapiness.
Did you ever see MJ perform at an MTV Awards show,I believe? The only thing
Michael lacked was playing an instrument himself but his voice alone with
quite enough. Not discounting what you said about Elvis but I would name
Elvis the King of Rock while naming Michael the King of Pop although quite
a few of Michael's songs had a rock element to them. He was one of those
artists who could get Blacks to listen to what would be considered White
music and Whites to do the opposite.
@jimraw1 Actually if you think about it, the top entertainers have always
taken advantage of the visual medium. Sinatra's movie career certainly
helped set that image; Barbara Streisand was the same. Don't forget the
Beatles, who probably knew how to manipulate the media better than anyone -
till they became prisoners of it. Actually all three of the biggest music
acts - Elvis, The Beatles, and MJ - all ended with such tragic results.
oh god I love this song sung as only elvis could with feeling and sincerity
many copy only the original for me the man with the gift from god himself
his awesome voice a kind gentle polite man loved him so god bless him and
family here and there with him and god bless america the country of his
birth that he loved so as I do myself born UK not disloyal love it as well
allie,s and friend,s and proud of it thank you emre ozcan
This man was a naturally gifted talent and performer who owned every stage
he was ever on. Any artist since him has the free gift to study and learn
of this man's natural ability to "connect" with his band and audience. It
is essential to do so, and NO ONE in the business has come close to having
this artist's natural gift and strength since he, "Left the building".
@luminox100 Yes and no. True Elvis shot to fame before the advent of music
videos. However, don't forget all the movies he made - many of which were
not very good, just reasons for Elvis to sing and dance. In a way, they
really were long music videos.
One of Elvis best songs ever, although at the time it was aired (early 1970
if I recall well) did not make much of an impression, or at least it was
not a top 10 song...nice to see many people appreciate this fine song.
In truth, one of many things that are the same concerning both artists was
their ability to get people of all races to listen to and appreciate their
music. Both had tremendous cross over appeal and that makes both kingly.
Nope, he gave it his all till the very last note he ever sang! Watching his
last concert footage it's hard to believe someone could sing with that much
power & be dead a few weeks later.
@draganryo No let me rectify you Elvis said he was no goddamned King! No
that's the true Elvis Presley, Elvis is Elvis plain n simple no titles
needed ur King is Michael Jackson!
@luminox100 and just thimagine he was admired all over the globe without
touring once outside the states. that's why he is still one of the greatest
entertainers to date.
@draganryo No let me rectify you Elvis said he was no goddamned King! No
that's the true Elvis Presley, Elvis is Elvis plain n simple no titles

looks like elvis liked kissing the blondes? wow!!! did he ever have all the
ladies wanting him soooo bad or what ?!? he truly was the King !!! RIP
Elvis............
Are you high to even mention those fads? That is like asking for a diamond
and mentioning 2 copper chunks that would supplement because the diamond is
gone.
A true and confirmed classic, and one of my two favorite Elvis songs. Elvis
had more raw talent in the nail of his right thumb than Bieber will ever
have.
@luminox100 So true... Today we have WAY too many posers acting like the
legends of yesterday with NONE of the charisma/talent.
Strange Skies In Kentucky: These Are Not Regular Chemtrails,.. What Are They?
www.undergroundworldnews.com I was sent in some images of strange activity in the skies above Kentucky. The images look to show some type of energy ...
+joe murphy There have been quite a few dark beams, yes. So if they are not made up of particulates, if they are not shadow, and given there's no such thing as black light.....then dark matter is as good a guess as anything.
I saw something like that moving across the sky just like a cloud. I swear
it looked like a see through spaceship. It didn't make any sense. I ran
upstairs with my camera and it had disappeared.
I also saw a second sun the same week!
This in Mexico.
Guys really look at these pics. I truly believe this is not clouds this is
a planet right next to ours which is reasoning for chemtrails. They are
bending the light from the sun using chemtrails to hide it as long as
possible. Please before you laugh at my theory which is truly the reality
