Ranger, Blues & Caps are in sports filled cities, not one of them has accomplished much yet still boast pretty good attendance records so your theory that a city with many teams could effect a hockey teams fanbase is false. Whether they televise the games or not is not an excuse, people know the team is there, they just didnt care + 08 was when the team got really good, of course thats when the bandwagons showed up. The facts are there bud, the Hawks fanbase is like the Pens, they're not loyal

The fact these "loyal fans" left for almost a decade and came back proves how disloyal they are. The past has proven that people will leave as soon as they suck again for a long period of time. Of course there are some loyal fans, but the majority are just riding them while they're hot, they're fake fans & the Hawks fanbase is not much better than the Coyotes. If they had such a loyal fans they would've had great crowds during the tough times...clearly NOT

You just agreed they only go when the team is good, THAT IS bandwagoning, cause as soon as they start to suck again these loyal "fans" will disappear. and no not all franchises are like that. No matter how good all Canadian teams will have great crowds, including some American teams like Philly & Buffalo. If you cant support the team through the tough years you have no right to support them during their great years

Coach Q was fined for his press conference, saying that the officiating was a disgrace, which it was. Torres is dirt, hence his suspension. Shaw's was unintentional, yet stupid on his part (came in too tight), and yes, Keith's was dirty hence his suspension. Difference is Torres is a repeat offender, and a piece of garbage. Go Hawks!

@Evan8787 Hawks organizatonion was under terrible ownership (blocked games, etc.) And it just so happened that when the son took over, along came better, more fan friendly ownership. I myself jumped back aboard when they got their act together, just so happens that they won the cut some years later. Just deal with it.

I actually watch lots of hockey, thats how I know that. blackhawks games used to rank near the bottom in average attendance. They win the Cup then all these fans come out of nowhere hmmmmmmmm

Joe was fined 10k for that... This is funny, it seems that the fines or disciplines are harsher to those speaking about the hits than those actually doing them.

You know don why don't you shut your big fat mouth don? I live in the south, and I love my preds. I went to 18 games last year including game 3 of the preds-hawks series. Your just jealous that the lightning, and the hurricanes beat the flames, and oilers in the stanley cup finals. Alexander Ovechkin can celebrate whatever he wants whether it's the hot stick or running to the boards.
