We've become a nation divided and this polarization will grow exponentially

not RT. UK and USA is a parasite structure which steals other wealth by
dollar pyramid, regime changes, IMF credits, wars and invasions. "Better
life" in UK is based on trillions of DEBT, parasiting nature of UK and

love to know more about it that's why I orginally tuned into to RT but all
I got was U.S. bashing. We have plenty of media outlets that inform us what

What the US needs to do is withdraw unto itself and close all the bases
around the world, Stop foriegn aid, and pull out of the UN and NATO, And
stand by and work on ourselves and watch the rest of the world from a
distance with the promise if we are attacke we will retaliate. Not
Preemptive wars and bailouts for people who obviously dislike us.Maybe then
we would get back on track and let everyone know we do not need to police
the rest of the world.

@agapeiron, the situation I'm talking about is a rich guy owning all the
available land in a particular area - that's impossible. If the richest man
in the world today, Bill Gates, tried to buy "all the land" he would run
out of money after 7-8 modern day suburbs. and that's assuming he can
manage to liquidate all his shares in MicroSoft without causing a major
crash in them... Even if he could, why, why why would anyone do this, and
then not use his land productively? There's no sense in this.

Name any Nations past or present of any political, religious make up have
not at some time not acted in a barbaric way to its own citizens or those
from other nations? People can still be Patriotic and feel proud of their

the most greedy investors rely on Govt handouts, Govt protection, Govt
patents that protect from competition, Govt sponsored foreign trade, Govt
technology, Govt roads, Govt airports, Global Security (military and CIA),
Coups to get rid of uncooperative foreign leaders, and protection from
angry Americans who USED to have the power @ state level to seize their
corporations for malfeasance, throw them in prison, and/or sue for damages.

hypothetical one. As far as the question of a chunk of land the *size of
Rhode Island* is concerned, such private territories already exist. How
they would operate under a 100% capitalist system without any State
intervention is precisely what I was drawing attention to. What would stop
a private owner from doing what he or she pleased on said chunk of land?
Nothing, except s/he might be a little nicer just to make cash.

Tax cuts are VERY important, especially taxes that the poor pay. The Very
Rich by definition, SAVE earnings, which means they buy up "govt debt",
sock their wealth into US Treasuries. That reduces aggregate demand, which
means soft sales, lower profits, lower output, more unemployment. Working
class and marginal poor spends all they earn to survive. More income = more
Demand = more GDP. Prosperity needs SALES, Demand. Supply is a COST when
it's sitting on shelves and car lots, unsold.

Chomsky's success - so what? I've never heard him criticize anyone for
simply having wealth; he does however consistently criticize the
exploitative manor in which most wealth is generated. Additionally, he has
a massive amount of free media available on his website (Chomsky.info), and
judging by the thousands of Chomsky videos circulating YouTube, I don't
think he's too big on enforcing copyright. Stop lying.

Yes, there's been genocide and slavery but that is not new to America. It's
easy to sit here in our modern time, our more enlightened to and say how
horrible those people in the 1500-1900 but that was a different world. In
relation to the rest of the world America, even at the time of slavery was
a extremely innovative and strong people. When I read about those times, it
doesn't make me hate this country because their were slaves and gencide
that is the human condition at that time.

people do you come across on a daily basis that try to screw you over with
in an exchange(be it with a business, family/friend, ebay etc)? Just
because an elite few decide to be money hungry STATIST "Capitalists"
doesn't mean the rest of us will. I could care less what Chomsky actually
enforces I'm talking about the things he preaches in contradiction. Nice

to bail out HIS private "bank", going back to the 80s. Matt Taibbi
described exactly how Romney made that happen. Basically extortion. Romney
also was deeply invested in his buddies hedge fund that extorted over $300M
from Obama's GM bailout, for a big fat "free money" handout to just a few
people. They also fired all the top quality Delco engineers, stole their
pensions, and moved all the jobs to China.
