I have a really important question about the California court of appeals, I read a while back and now I can't find it, It has to do with New really strong Evidence (Witness) and that if it could indeed change the verdict that the California's Appeals would let it come in, Any idea where I could find that information at or anyone know anything about it?. @striken4pot What, because I think that children shouldn't be allowed uncontrolled access to television. Or that I think adults should be responsible for moderating what their children watch? In this case, a mistake was made. A channel aired some language in a live TV show. The broadcaster had no control over them and for whatever reason couldn't remove them. It's not like it was premeditated. Censuring them really solves nothing, apart from to placate the dimwits of society.

My lack of intelligence? Lol, you believe in a book that was written two thousand years ago and let that dictate your life. I on the other hand live life and don't want censorship. The government needs to get out of our lives to what we put in our bodies to what we watch. Anyways the bible doesn't make any sense if there was a god why would he write something so flawed. "Why don't you tell the parents to get those TVs out of bedrooms" I couldn't agree more. Parents are the people who should control what children watch. This is how my parents ran things, and that's how I'll handle my daughter's TV viewing. It's not the job of regulators to stop children from hearing bad language. Oh, and kids hear it ALL in the playground anyway. So the whole thing is futile.

@fuckyou5211 You don't "pay" for broadcast channels like FOX, NBC, CW, et cetera. They are broadcast free-to-air and can be picked-up by anybody. That's why the government censors them (ditto radio) . Only cable and satellite channels are uncensored by the government .

The reason there are so vacancies on this court is because Democrats filibustered President Bush’s nominees for years. 3 of those nominees were eventually confirmed when Republicans picked up Senate seats in 2004. Others never got the vote they deserved. Obama is planning to break Senate protocol by using a "nuclear" option to get them nominated so that the D.C. Circuit will determine how much of Obama’s agenda survives. OB is divisive. Don't trust him. Look at what he is doing with the IRS.

This country has a "very" low population for the huge amount of land mass we have. It's so ironic that Americans complain about overpopulation, yet China and India have many times our population, each, and I constantly hear about those countries surpassing us in the near future. Also, I don't hear India and China squbbling about their thousands of ethnic groups, yet Americans make a huge fuss about a few million Mexicans who have always been our next door buddies to the south. What you're not realizing (and failing to legitimize the influential importance of), is that whites in this country ARE the ones in power, so it is RARELY possible for minority groups to disinfranchize whites. It makes me laugh when minorities are accused of voter intimidation given the history white people have in this country. I don't think you are afraid of inequality, but of revenge (which still is impossible at this point because whites BY FAR control our government). So stop complaining.

Latinos are not the biggest ethnic group in America. Non-hispanic whites make up over 60% of this country. Don't just make up your own facts for the sake of winning an argument. And the reason minorities are so tight is because it takes a group effort and a loud voice to fight for minority rights. It's been like that for all time, even in the Middle East, where minority Muslim groups are persecuted. It's pretty unusual to be a "token white person" in this country, so you wouldn't understand.

African Americans are voting for who they think will represent them, as Americans.. Maybe the fact that black politicians have had a similar racial experience (which the white majority doesn't seem to even find legitimate) is reason enough for blacks to vote for them, assuming they're a decent candidate. After all, blacks have been voting for white politicians who see them simply as "THE BLACK VOTE" for generations. Imagine you being white and every candidate but one was black. I wonder...
