+mycattitudeI don't understand why some people find solace in ignoring the "not so nice" things of life. Like you I too find it invigorating to be aware of as much as I can be, I went through the phases though. Disregard, Denial, Fear, Confusion, Realization, Acceptance, and now Understanding. Some people don't want to think passed their daily lives though, or shy away from their comfortable luxuries unfortunately.Personally I can't be comfortable not knowing what direction the world is heading.

People aren't as stupid as what some like to make out. I see so much one-upmanship on here. That's insecurity. If you are secure and centred w/in yourself, you don't need to put down others to feel better about yourself. Cognitive dissonance can be a painful and fearful process to shake free from. What I try and tell people, is it only seems fearful and too depressing when you are outside of it. knowing the truth is sometimes stark, but I feel like I'm getting a glimpse of blue sky for the first time in so long. I feel lighter, clearer and more free than I maybe ever have. It's like fresh air after breathing smog. anyone know what I mean?
