Cool video but that's not a Taxpayer. The term Taxpayer originated in New
York City and is defined as a one or two story (single floor) commercial
building with multiple stores or shops and a common cockloft. Many have
basements. There is no residential space in a Taxpayer. Strictly commercial
occupancy. For some reason this is a common mistake by many in the fire
service but it is dead wrong. Here is a video of an actual Taxpayer fire.

Hi +Dork Bofo! Thanks for commenting. That's an interesting point. While the term taxpayer originated in New York City and FDNY, it appears that it has since taken on different meanings in different municipalities. The common terminology here in Suffolk County refers to a two story building with commercial shops on the first floor and residential units above.
