I like this little camera that came from Heliguy (see my other video to show what comes with it) and decided to see how we could make it lighter to extend the ...
Hi Oscar, the hubsan has been rebranded by at three manufacturers that I know of. I do cover this in the review video for the Heliguy Viper. Happy flying!
How can you connect this MD-80 to a helicopter battery which has a charging
voltage of 1.5 volt but has a 3.7 volt batterij (180mah)? The MD-80 is 3.7
volt.. I don't know anything about those things.. :(
+Jeroen Bos You can connect the MD80 to the first cell in the LIPO pack via the balance connector. This will provide the same voltage as the internal pack.
Hi Painless360, I have extreme difficulty seeing the red/blue leds in
strong daylight, I would like to wire 3mm leds to the fuselarge of a rc
glider so the cameras mode can be seen very clearly, is this possible to do
? also would it be safe to power the cam from the 4.8v receiver battery
?. Btw very good well explained video many thanks well done
+Painless360 Thanks for replying, I've thought of a better way of doing it. With the front / back cases off, simply cut away a small section of the front casing (the grey part) -- simple job. It's dead easy to do, try it. Bty thanks for the informative video -What's your thought's about powering from the 8.4v receiver battery ? - info' - the exact size screw driver bit is - a PH000 (Phillips) hope this help someone TTFN
Hi Loonypics, I don't see why not for the LEDs, on the power side I've not tried it myself so it may be too much - only one way for you to find out! :)Let me know if it works..
