See climbers bouldering and having fun on their homemade climbing wall (woodie). Watch moves that seem to defy the laws of gravity. Even the dog is intrigued ...
@TheBlueEyeDevil No more pics - this was at a previous house. The gap was
basically where a big I-beam ran across the roof - at first what was an
obstacle became a great feature. Panels were attached to the bottom of the
I-beam, and higher panel attached above. A Coppers log was cut to fit over
the edge of the I-beam to make a slopey rail. Thanks
if you dudes will need to get ripped quick without spending a single
another minute in the gym, then you must check out this online video

You could get the wood and hardware for just a few hundred. And you can get used holds from your local gym for CHEAP, like $1-$3 a hold. You could get all of those holds in the video for under $100 easy.

you mark problems with different colored tape, that old attic wall varied
with the amount or problems from time to time but i had anywhere from 10-15
at any given time. The new garage wall i have anywhere from 10-20 going
usually. they both took around 2 weeks to make, holds can get expensive,
check ebay for used hols for cheap but i like So Ill Holds. I have 3
boulders pads so maybe 500. Song is Shake Your Limbs by Mattafix
My gawad dude! How long / how much money did it take to create that epic
setup? I've seen actual "rock gyms" less impressive than that..... Srsly,
plz inform -- I'd love to create something similar when I have a home to
call my own.
Excellent bouldering cave bro. I think I'm actually gunna do a similar
setup like this one. I have a humungous attic that looks very similar to
yours. Oh and I like the blowup mattress as a crash pad. Lol classic.
Super Awesome Set Up! How did you mark your routes? About how many routes
have you made up? How long did it take you to make it? How much did all the
holds/padding cost you? and What is the song?
usually climbing gyms sell their older holds so make sure you check
locally, mine just had a huge sale when they got these brand new rock candy
holds which are FANTASTIC feels like real rock.
@tapout229 Go to an established climbing gym and ask them if they have any
old holds. If they do, you can usually pick them up for super cheap. Not
glamorous, but effective.
Me and gf are looking to buy a house. I told her my only "must have" is a
huge garage to build boudering walls LOL. She agree. Yay for me~ Nice set
up btw~
@ClimbingCon We made it in stages, but the vertical and horizontal sections
went up super fast - a couple hours tops. The 20 degree and 45 degree
sections required us to do a lot more planning, measuring, cutting, etc.,
and probably took 4-6 hours each.
@PumpedWithLead Definitely start by making a decent drawing of what you
want it to look like when finished. I also recommend downloading the "How
to Build a Home Bouldering Wall" how to guide from the Metolius website.

@XmitchellX1 We are in Minnesota. It was probably closer to 0 F that day,
but we have a couple heaters going that gets the indoor temp up to around
20.
