2011-2013 Ford Fiesta Review | Consumer Reports
The Ford Fiesta does a lot really well: it's very fuel-efficient, has nimble handling, and rides like a larger car. But there are problems, too. Learn more about the ...
Some people complaining aboutvthe jerkiness at slow speed need to realize
this is a manual transmission without the manual part. It will jerk a
little bit when going through a parking lot at slow speeds. When you need
to worry is when it's between shifts, and there's shuttering and jerking
upon acceleration like mine is.
Or shuttering upon changing gears, hesitation and such, but a little jerkiness at slow speeds and clicking when changing gears is normal for what I like to call an automated manual transmission.
If my Ford Fiesta only had a few problems I would not be concerned?
Starting with 10 months of Transmission problems. The Ford Company waiting
for the next transmission problems. Good luck with any person who buys a
Ford!!!
The cup holder has never touched my leg. The center console is located
perfectly. The front seats are very comfortable and the interior is better
than most in this category. I drive this car every day and I love it. I
would only recommend getting the 5 speed manual because they are usually
more reliable.
I know what you mean. I'm 6'3" & almost 300 pounds & I can drive my Fiesta more comfortably than a lot of bigger vehicles I've driven. I have a 2011 SE hatchback with a 5 speed manual.
Omg I just have mine for five months..and its acting like its going to stall...my windshield wipers.are a mess..my brakes feel like they going to go...It jerks shakes n is slow to catch speed...etc...I can go on n on n on...
Yup, mine was finally fixed. It took forever but it was finally done. It still makes a shimmy noise but the jerking has stopped. I am crossing my fingers that is done forever, but I am not entirely hopeful.
