@Millenniumforce No. That was the Sunset Limited. It ran from Orlando to
LA. When Hurricane Katrina hit, Amtrak "suspended" service from New Orleans
to Florida "indefinitely" pending track repairs. (CSX had the tracks
repaired within 3 months) The Silver Meteor runs from Miami to New York.
Once upon a time, it, too, stopped in Tampa. PS: Is that old, private
sleeper car still parked on a siding at TUS? Its for sale.

@Millenniumforce Thank YOU for posting such cool videos! I lived in Tampa
from 97-05, before moving back to Jacksonville to be closer to family. If
you want to see a LOT of railroad action, come to Jacksonville. Our
football team sucks, but we've got 3 railroads (NS, CSX, FEC) & 2 of them
are headquartered here. (CSX, FEC)

Great video. Used to live in Tampa & remember TUS well. Sad. The station is
beautifully restored, but the platforms and trainsheds are still falling
apart. The abandoned train wash you filmed only adds insult to injury.
Bringing the Silver Meteor back to Tampa might help, but I dont see that
happening anytime soon.
