I'm also quite mad they went with hydraulic instead of traction. But
there's a video of a 13-story HIGHdraulic on YouTube but that one's roped.
Good thing that in my area, ThyssenKrupp mostly installs traction elevators
in buildings with 5 or more landings. The only HIGHdraulics I found in my
area were a TK 6-story hydro in the UNM parking garage, a US 6-story hydro,
two Otis, and Schindler
Hmm. I thought this used to be an Embassy. Just Rode these because I stayed
here for Christmas. Very reminscent of the Embassy Suites in Boca, which
have TRACTION Schinder Haughtons from 1985(?) that were modded with
innovation and that place is only 7 floors! But these lifts were awesome.
