Are you planning on using this dog for actual bracing? If so, I'd have him
evaluated by a vet chirporactor or other related specialist. He looks very
small compared to you and his structure does not look stocky enough to be
used as a brace dog. There is usually a weight ratio that they look for. He
can easily become injured and not be usable as SD. Please look into this!
+pets talkback Minimum recommended is the dog half the person's weight. Also height to height consideration is important. Ar least thigh height at shoulder and of a heavy bone (sturdy dog).

+Evelia Salinas What I find ridiculous is, at least for cats, you can't find pain medicine at the stores to tide over until you can find a vet that charges cheaper prices. They sell dog aspirin at some petsmarts, but nothing otc for cats that I'm aware of, and cats supposedly can't have aspirin. I'd like veterinarians to have a decent lifestyle- but it's sort-of weird when one vet tells you $1,000.00 and another tells you closer to $500.00 for the same procedure.

Wtf go pawn one of the cars in ur front lawn or something. If a dog breaks
its leg it needs a professional to X-ray it wrap it text. U duck tape your
dogs leg? What's a vet visit? $600 bucks and u can't sell some of the junk
in ur junk yard? Ur in ur thirties and don't have any money saved yet in
life. This video is horrible I can't believe u guys ghetto rigged a splint
for that poor animal.

My dog broke her leg too and one of my aunts wrapped her leg up and
everything but can someone tell me what medicine does she need so my poor
dog can feel well rested.

Dogs need very specific pain medication. Tylenol is toxic to a dogs/cats kidneys. See a Vet for goodness sake. Please see my above explanation why you can not just let a break heal on its own with no medical attention.
