True story. Saw Deborah Conway at a concert in Brisbane and she was doing a
meet n greet afterwards. I asked her how of ten she gets asked about THAT
shower scene. She laughed and said "Once in a while by rev heads like you".
She is lovely. True
Friggin great Aussie car film. No-one does them better.
Also, it ain't a GT (thank god, they need to be kept). No Super-Roo on the
flanks. Who cares - XY, 351, shaker, 9 inch lsd (note two big black lines)
is fine with me.
The tail lights on the Monaro are HT because the blinker and brake are
divided while on the HG the're 1 peice plastic covers. But the car they
roll is a HK Monaro, a 6 cylinder you can see when the bonnet comes off and
the tail light section cuts back in toward the boot with smaller tail
lights.
@cosipowell if you look you will see the car has a HG grill which has been
painted black. Don't know about the HK part as the it looks like the same
car all the way through or at least the car has the same HG grill all the
way through
I like how the fuel tank falls out of the boot at 1:07, then it explodes
after ending up in the ditch with no flammable liquid on board anymore, as
if car movie explosions weren't unbelievable enough already..
I liken the Challenger to a Clydesdale horse. They're beautiful, if a
little big in the hips. They eat a lot, but they've got power to spare.
They're faster than you think, but they probably wont win the derby. Does
that really matter? No. They both have a gravitas that's undeniable. Great
horse, great car.
damn these things make closer to 500 horsepower at the crank then 470. Now
I see why it's not uncommon to make over 500 at the wheels with bolt on's
cam and tune.
I love my wife... she asked me if we can trade in out charger r/t for one
of these bad boys. I thought about it for about.. ooohhh .000005ms and said
oh Fk yes!
Too bad they didn't improve the RT for 2011. Guess you can't improve on
perfection. Well, you could always put an aluminum frame in it... hint hint
Dodge.
