Just an idea... I cut my sausage pieces on the small side and pan fry them.
I then put the pieces in a dish already with the beans inside and make
myself a small casserole Since the meat is already cooked all you're doing
is heating the casserole up. You'll get a lot more flavor out of the meat
if you saute it vs boiling it

the oven like yours but without foil.... Ohhh Happy Day! I know what you
mean about how good the vinegar makes it all taste. Thanks!

I absolutely agree that sometimes you need to spend a little more to get a
quality product that will last, rather than buying something cheap that
will break at first use. My husband and I came to that realization about
10 years ago.
Thanks for showing us some more great products and good luck with the
fundraising! It's a great cause!
+Michelle Hedgcock Thanks lovely lady!! Yes - there is definitely a time for quality products - we too learned that a while ago... A lot of what I utilize are antiques also because sadly they are better quality than the modern day counterparts.... We have just learned to budget for what we need and pay cash... I LOVE the convenience of these solar ovens and what they both have to offer... An amazing tools!! Thank you also for your support in our fundraiser - can't wait to participate!! Blessings lovely lady!!

looks so good! will have to figure out how to make it for one person or
does it freeze well if I made the large size and then cut into sections for
individual servings and freeze? cant wait to try this. thanks for sharing!
looks good! I'll have to try it out! I like that it freezes for later
cooking.
I know this video is old but I hope you'll catch this comment because I
want to ask how long do you think this will stay well in the freezer?
+MissTrina2100 My aunt actually makes this and puts servings into aluminum foil and freezes it. Then when they go camping, they grab out a bunch of them and cook them over a fire in the aluminum foil. I freeze pretty much everything for about 6 months because I forget about it and it hasn't gone bad on me. I freeze things in glass containers.

middle-now i have to see if i can find them in the uk. we're so lucky in
the u.s. to have so many cool vegan choices. btw-you're show is
awesome-funny & full of great ideas.
hope this is a quick question-is there any special preparation for the
field roast sausage. i tried the chipotle flavour & it had a mild
aftertaste. maybe i didn't cook it long enough? i grilled it until
goldeny-grilly looking. thanks in advance.
For the beans, we just diced it and slow cooked it in the dish. We used the
smoked apple sage kind. Otherwise, we just cook it up on a pan with some
oil or on the grill. You can slice them down the middle and cook them that
way too.
"Beans beans the musical fruit, the more you eat the more you toot, the
more you toot the better you feel, so let's have beans for every meal". I'm
sorry I just couldn't help myself... ;D They surely look good though!
