Great video as usual. But I was a little surpised to hear the conclusion: -
"we have to wait for whatever it is is wrong with this car to occur"; -
"continue testing until such time as the vehicle cuts out"; - "I will
attempt to find out if there's anything that perhaps relevant to the
vehicle not starting". Isn't that what OBD mode $02 (freeze frame data) is
for?
I had a similar prob on my ZT 2.0 CDTI failing to start when hot. Turned
out to be one particular injector which showed poor leakback on test with
another failing marginally. I had all 4x injectors serviced and balanced by
Lynx Diesels and the transformation was impressive. Now starts on the
