What's better than turkey dinner? Turkey leftovers, of course. John Stage has an awesome recipe for hash using leftover turkey with the ultimate Dude Food twist ...
The difference between kosher salt and table salt is that kosher salt comes
in big, weakly flavored flakes, while table salt comes in compact, strongly
flavored cubes. Because of that, kosher salt is better for cooking with
meats and vegetables, since it soaks in better, and since it's weaker
flavored, you can get a more even coating.
Lol, that's not what Kosher means here. According to wikipedia: "The term
'kosher salt' derives not from its being made in accordance with the
guidelines for kosher foods... but rather due to its use in making meats
kosher by removing surface blood." The only difference between it and table
salt is a larger grain size.
Great recipy! I had to make some changes, Due to my father having heart
problems and needing to go on a diet (IE, I pan fried it, instead of
deepfrying it, and I used homade bbq sause and such). Great lunch.

Watermelon for breakfast? Ha ha ha! Hey, I am not shocked. I had friends
from Malaysia and Indonesia in college. They had rice for breakfast. They
said "they have to have rice in every meal" like Turks have bread even when
they eat rice and macaroni/spaghetti. Ha ha ha! Anyway, I invited my
college buddies over to my place for a Turkish breakfast. They had no clue
whatsoever about what it would be like. So, I had, Turkish tea, cheese,
olives, boiled eggs, jam, sliced cucumber and tomatoes, etc. They were like
"What!!! Is this really a Turkish breakfast?" I said "Yeap, it is!" From
their facial expression, it was difficult to read if they liked it but I
guess it was more like my expression when I saw rice at their breakfast
table.
