+ MrCorosiveone Credit where its due fellow gunslinger. It takes years of dedication to achieve these results. Typically what sort of pressure do you favour on the 4000rp when shooting a hs or ms clear?

How many psi at in line regulator and what number setting on fluid knob? Also how many threads showing on same fluid knob? I want to replicate this technique. Any help would be great. Thanks in advance.

+MrCorosiveone Ok thanks so much. I'll give it a shot. What psi at the inlet? So turn fan in 2.5 turns. Fluid all the way out? On the black maserati video, you turned fluid in about 3/4 in. Just wondering. Also, how close are you at the panels? I have noticed that this gun likes to go slow and up close to panel. Any input and suggestions is really appreciated. Thanks again.

+Christopher Eduardo when i use the lph 400 which is a great gun i use the orange cap it works better .the fluid adjustment doesn't mater touch . But the fan adjustment does . I open it all the way then turn it in 2 1/2 turns

Well I have the lph400 with 1.3 tip. Silver cap lv4. I haven't dialed in how to lay it on slick. Any tips on the settings for this gun for clear ? Thanks really could use the help .

I have tried almost every gun .and in my opinion the sata 4000 is the best for clear . But all guns are good i find using a hvlp 9mm hose gives volume rather than pressure to break up the clear it works better than trying to use higher pressure

So you paint the section of the hood just out of frame up to the middle first, then pass right over it with a lighter coat? Do you do this by just pulling the trigger lighter kind of like a drop coat for metallic? I will be trying this technique with my Satajet 3000RP 1.3mm, hope I get it right because this car looks amazing!

+MrCorosiveone Thanks for replying, I really enjoy your videos you have a wonderful attitude about your work.  I was going to spray HS clear at about 28 psi on the 3000 RP, does this sound right?  I would then drop down to 22psi  and do the mist coat with a partial pull of the trigger?

Hey thanks for watching ! I usually do a medium wet coat followed by mist coat to fill in orange peel ...unlike a drop coat that is usually done with lower pressure to correct mettalics. the clear and mist type coat using a sata 3000 should be sprayed around 22psi

if you get it all down to bare metal it seemed to work in those areas. but the areas I didn't sand down to bare metal the rust came back threw in about 2 months I just shot the video I'll up load it soon

same problem here. I'm thinking of adding some chrome moulding over the wheel wells. will get them from eBay. should be nice.

My son has a 2007 Silverado, and the rust is showing up. So what's your opinion off the encapsulated paint.
