+Peter Michalski That person felt threatened by you're comment so he or she decided to go out of their own personal way to attack you're opinion. I hate when people do that and so what if they think you are wrong. If they are truly civilized about it then they would have never replied to you're comment out of fear, hate or disapproval towards you're opinion lol. Because of this people should let others find the truth for themselves instead of trying to force a way of thinking on to others because when that happens they pretty much just taken away that persons right as a human being to think for themselves. But I do support you're opinion on some level about slavery and taxes and debt because those are still issues around the world ^^.
Its not because its from 2006 (even though that can be the reason too) but Borat "exists" since 1995.Sacha Baron Cohen trolled people as Borat since 1995 and he closed the Borat era after he made a film in 2006.After the film he never been Borat again....He invented Bruno....Dictator....etc.So the reason for this vid in 240p is cause its made in the late 90s OR early 2000s :)
+Evi4666 Oh right. I did initially think that it may have been that or something similar, but when I saw the title of the video I got a bit confused. Cheers.
I think he was going to ask if she was a slave or something xD

I read on a lot of websites reporting about this research that the captain
of the ship was Portuguese. But the text in the beginning of the video is
written in Dutch.
So I assume because of this that the captain was from Holland. Could you
possibly tell me more about this? Is there a digital version of these

I think the US should tell Abe to knock it off with its antics over
history. That should take the wind out of any attempt from Korea and
China's political point scoring and all the antics that they engage in. As
long as the US is mum about this then it is perceived that it is condoning
Japan's antics.
Are you sure Park Chung Hee was a high ranking Japanese official? I
seriously doubt that.
+redwhitedude Well now Japan have to include apologies for trying to repeatedly deny many historical issues back and fourth as well as permanent memorials and bronze statues placed all over the world thanks to PM Abe and his Nipponese fascist regime.
Is just reaffirming what has already been said too much to ask? Japan has said it has apologized so living up to it and not saying anything that casts doubt on it is not much to ask. Rather just not touching the issue after the apology would have been fine.
+redwhitedude Why would Japan take that doomed road to fascism again regurgitating the same old propaganda on Korea perpetuated for at least a century? Comfort women issues never was about compensations, bronze statues all over the world or even about anti-Japan propaganda. It all began with Park Jung Hee look alike Osaka born newly elected president of South Korea who all the sudden had a diplomatic visitors from Japan announcing ridiculous territorial claim to Dokdo as well as revising Japanese school history textbooks. American English teacher working in Japan took an unofficial survey in his classroom and 58 out of 60 Japanese middle school students do believe that sexual slavery of Korean comfort women is true and fact while 2 weren't so sure. Nipponese fascists are trying to convince the whole world while they couldn't even convince their own kids with their lies and I think that's laughable. ;)
The point is Japan does something like try to "revise" or even touch the comfort women or history issues then both Korea and China go beserk. It gets tiring, when it happens over and over again. That was the point of my statement.
+redwhitedude You are the one begin with the false notions and I'm afraid that Steve Miller was wrapped up in the propaganda made by Nipponese fascists also despite resisting majority of their denials. It's pointless to even mention 65 normalization treaty at this point in the first place and everyone knows it. I heard it all before and everyone are just beating around the bushes. What I'm really surprised is just that Nipponese fascists never mention South Korean media distortions of Choanan ship sinking accusing North Korea of having magic submarines. ;)
So you want the antics to continue and have Korea and China bring engage in the same thing over and over. That's the point of the comment. It gets tiring.
South Korea paid well above what Japanese compensated for each individual comfort women in 65 normalization treaty. President Park made efforts not to include comfort women issues in the 65 normalization treaty negotiations because of the fear of much bigger compensation going to North Korea and I'm afraid that his fear was finally realized after 11 Billion $ worth of reparation and nonaggression treaty with North Korea Koizumi made in decade long secrecy in direct violation of 65 normalization treaty.
This is not the long term issue. It is the issue, which all of the sudden
created in late 90's for the diplomatic reason of Korea. Basically, all of
the issues along our kind annexation of the Peninsula was settled by the
payment in 1965. There is no reason for Japan to apologize to those slaves
now. It is pointless from the beginning. She should dig out her father's
bone and complaint to him. It was him who had settled those issues by the
treaty.
Yes but how do you explain Koizumi visit to North Korea and 11 Billion $ worth of reparation and nonaggression treaty with North Korea still at war with South Korea in direct violation of 65 normalization treaty? And that's done in decade long secrecy?
+伊藤博文Japan also has a responsibility to live up to the apologies it has made. It needs to reaffirm that.
