Re: Dover Hydraulic Elevator at the USC Music Building (HD)
This is a retake of the Dover elevator beside the big freight elevator at the USC Music Building in Columbia, SC. Brand: Dover Type: Hydraulic Capacity: 2500 ...
@NewAgeServerAlarm Its like Dover is the name of a dog. So Dover is wagging
his tail near a post in your house. You say..."Cute little Dover, it's a
cute little Dover..." and then Dover pees on the post and you say..."BAD
DOVER!

It remains a mystery what lies on the sub-basement level. I even resorted to asking the USC band directors once, and they told me they didn't know either (or it ...
Riding the other elevator at the USC Music Building in Columbia, SC. I couldn't get the freight elevator this time, the place was crowded.

Riding a very colorful elevator at the USC Music Building in Columbia, SC.
Courion did buy out most of the competition by buying Harris Preble,
Guilbert and a few others. Peelle is identifiable by the "whoosh" noise the
doors make and Courion by the low grinding noise heard here. EMS doors are
the ones that seem to "bounce" when they close all the way. This can be
seen in mschafe123's video of the high speed schindler freight elevator
when the hoistway doors close.
@clarkloveselevators The megapixel value has nothing to do with video
quality, it has to do with picture quality. You can have a camera that has
good picture quality, but crappy video and sound quality. As far as small
hand-held cameras are concerned, the best brands as far as video and sound
quality are Sony, Casio (newer cameras), and Canon (newer cameras). I use a
Casio Exilim EX-S10.
Hello Andrew, I am very sorry for annoying you a little last few months ago
about the "complaining" and should rode the elevators, or stuff like that.
I wanted to say sorry if I have been rude to you. I got kind of too crazy
when I looked at your comments on some of the freight elevator videos where
no one rode it. Can you accept my apology?
The general term is "vertical bi-parting". I have no idea where "clamshell"
came from but it is incorrect. Peelle and Courion both make freight
elevator doors. Peelle is more common on TK elevators and most Dovers.
Peelle also supplies Otis sometimes although Otis makes their own.
Schindler uses EMS Doors. IDK about Kone or other brands.
when u said it was in fire service is was not 1.u would not be able to call
it 2.u would have to close the door by pressing the button 3.And if it was
in fire service u would have to press and hold door open so its not in fire
service
I rode a freight elevator just as similar to this one just last week ago.
It was taken at San Antonio Convention Center. I am just starting to love
Convention Centers. I would recommend that you mention me when you come
across one.
You can go to my recent Dover freight elevator video and look at the
comments that I replied to Hanny (elevatorman155). That tells you where to
go to find the freighter.
