Bath Green Park S & D June 2015
A model of Bath Green Park station on the Somerset & Dorset in 7mm scale. 1950's/1960's period.
+Tim Spiers Tim yes this is 90125. Shedded at Bristol Barrow Road and transferred to Bath GP for test against the aging S & D 7F's. Found seriously wanting - brakes apparently not up to the job so not seen on the S & D again but they did come in occasionally with specials from Avonmouth Docks and you see 90125 about to return with an empty vans train.
+Tim Spiers ah you spotted it. My mistake I meant to remove it. Its A1 60145 St Mungo the last A1 in service and as I lived in York in the early mid1960s a loco I saw frequently. I may be a died in the wool S & D modeller but I do have a real liking for the LNER pacifics.
