I thoroughly have enjoyed how you refer to your friend Dr. Greenfield with such reverence and respect. Its funny, in every country a nurse has a different status....in germany for an example, to become nurse u do not have to go to college....and a nurse in germany is like being a regular worker here...kinda funny....just interesting i think, how being a nurse in the US is considered something special and in other countries just an average job,in which u had to go to school for 2 years.... i am nurse in the us now...75% u learn in college is not needed at all, once u work as an actual nurse..odd

I think he said that you can either do a 2 year or 4 year degree, then take a test to get your license. Do 4 year if you want to go further than being a grunt nurse.
