@TOTCD they had recently discover some of the tunnels due to mining, so obviously their will be more tunnels, even the reporter said the s. Koreans do not know how many else of these tunnels may lie. America will still not be as prepared as n.korea, i dont think you understand that the whole POPULATION of n.korea are ready for war and have been trained since they were kids because of it, no matter how prepared america is they will still be unable to conquer korea without nukes or chinas backing

@TOTCD i agree not enough to destroy a country but severe enough to disable it, if oa nuke was to blow up over u.s.a or more likely japan or s.korea it would scatter nuclear Debra everywhere. N. Korea's entire population is ready for war just like japan was in ww2 unlike,s.korea and other nations who have better things to do, to invade n.korea will be near enough impossible if you dont completely obliterate them and you cant do this since it would be inhuman. @NorthPlum U seem to know a lot of NK capabilities but i think u r underestimating the US war machine. NK is using Vietnam era weaponry and their soldiers r nothing more then cannon fodder. The only military threat the north has to offer is the amount of civi lives it will take with it and the damage it would cause if attacked. Those artillery pieces r the main reason i wouldnt go to war with NK if i was SK. Also NK doesnt have nukes. If it did we would know about it like that invisible cell

@NorthPlum Look at how much trade the USA does with China. It has no military bases there. Conversely the USA could do billions of dollars in trade with Cuba but refuses to do so, even though it maintains a military base there ( on land which it effectively stole from Cuba after the needless Spanish-American war.) There is no connection between having to station troops abroad and trade. The USA has 700-1,000 overseas military bases, an absurdity when you consider its geographical position.

@hexcane You're an idiot. The USSR wanted communism but the US wanted democracy so they decided to divide it half. After that the US even it's allies pull out it's troops out to let the Koreans govern themselves. The north koreans started a war that invaded and force their ideology in South Korea and would have reunified the Korean peninsula under a communist regime if we didn't step in to help. It's not getting any better if USSR take whole Korea. Beside China is what keeping NK free.

@GamerGarden Not true friend. One nuke isn't nearly enough to destroy a whole country. And it also depends of the power of the nuke. And N korea has more men but S Korea has way more weapons and advanced military technology. That makes a difference. And S Korea has 600 K active personnel. N korea has 1 million. You're making it seem as if N Korea has wayyy more troops which is not true. If the south conquers the north, the north will be happy since they have the same culture and language.

@TOTCD lol one nuke is enough, and most likely n.kore are such cowards they will nuke s.korea before declaring war along with japan. It will undoubtly spark a world war, and that one thing that is likely to happen, but i dont think either opposing countries are prepared for a war, yet i fee n.korea is more prepared since all and i mena ALL their money goes into war and their population is brainwashed into war and even if we were to win, We still wouldnt conquer n.korea but make it worse.

@jaeknyc So? Same goes for the north, and china, in the philippines they even start at 16 until they are 19. I don't really think there's an actual difference there between all Asian countries. And a conflict in Korea will most likely turn the diplomativ conflict between China & Japan over territory & the Spratly Island conflict into an actual armed conflict. Not to mention the conflict between China & Taiwan. This might very well cause a chain reaction like in WWI & WWII only in Asia.

Agreed the north koreans do not have advanced enough weapons as the south, but the the north whole plan will be stealth and speed, through various tunnels,passages, hidden military bases etc. They will not warn s.korea of a attack, plus they would get support from both loas, cambodia and vietnam who all generally hate korea. Interesting is that Macedonian Hellenes put out of their Hellas. There are many Greek records that not only Greeks and Macedonians were different in blood, but were great enemies. History has enrolled many of their mutual struggles. If you were one nation, as we now say modern Greeks, why they fought each other, why the Greeks would describe the Macedonians as occupiers of their Hellas?
