There is no function to enable voice features, you may enable that through the phone and our mic will pick it up. keep in mind Voice enabled functions are dependent on ambient noise and the cab inside a moving vehicle tends to be somewhat noisy and can make the driving experience not so enjoyable when using the voice enabled features. thank you for your inquiry.
I have a PA15 connected to my '03 Tundra. Been working great for nearly 5
years... love it. I've moved from Apple to Android now, and wondering if
the 3.5mm stereo audio cable is my only option? Is there a bluetooth
dongle I can use instead of the Apple 30-pin cable?
with your existing pa15, yes that is the only option. the Bluetooth dongles don't work, only because our pa15 device requires the serial data communication from the apple device which these dongles don't have. The BT35 is an early generation Bluetooth device which will work perfectly with your car and with you android phone, however, the hard wired AUX input from the PA15 will sound better (in my opinion). most people are really happy with the sound quality of the BT35, my ear is just way too sensitive..
I already have the BT35 installed in my 02 Landcruiser(w/Nav). I recently
purchased the PA15. Is there a cable that I need to purchase in order to
connect the PA15 to the BT35??
the real deal for most 2003 and older Toyota/Lexus models is they use a bigger type of connector and we have harness part number CAS-TLC which allows you to split that plug into 2. however, your radio still needs to have the ability (electronically speaking) to accept and acknowledge 2 devices (PA15 & BT35) on the same port. Call us direct and we will elaborate on this matter over the phone so you can understand it better. 626.336.3836 thank you
