+Pomme843 No, And the testing is for our benefit and those around us. Not for Gods benefit. Your interpretation of faith is incorrect according to the Bible. Like I said before, context. Jesus was if you will, killing two birds with one stone as far as I can tell. He knew her faith was strong so he used her faith to teach his followers a lesson. That they shouldn't be prejudiced. None of these questions can be answered in short concise brief statements. I guess the first and most obvious point is that everything God does is righteous and justified, because he is a perfect being and we are imperfect beings that could never possibly understand his reasoning. As for faith, faith is not the suspension of reason.  Hebrews 11 says "Now faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see." and there is more to this chapter but faith is believing Gods promises without needing evidence. Through faith the evidence will follow. as for why God would test us... it seems if you've read the bible that through the centuries and millennia God speaks to us less and less till we are where we are now, where there are unbelievers everywhere who say they cant hear God or he isn't real. I look at it like this, God is our father and we are his children. as kids we are taught by our parents but when we become adults they no longer have any say in what we do. This is Gods gift to us (Free choice). We choose to love, hate, follow, turn away, believe or not believe in God. And we see in the bible how in the beginning there was no question about God but eventually that evolved into us "reasoning" that we don't need God to live which evolved in believing false gods/not believing at all. Mathew 7:13-14 "Enter through the narrow gate. For wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction and many enter through it. But small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life, and only a few find it." it is because we lack faith and refuse to follow our fathers road that we cannot hear him. Jesus told Thomas "because you have seen me, you have believed; blessed are those who have not seen and yet have believed." John 20:29. Jesus came for the Jews to teach them the gospel that they would go out into the world and teach the gentiles. he showed them through his miracles and lessons that Jews are not the only ones to be saved. so no he wasn't lying or deceiving her. but preparing his followers for after his resurrection and ascension. The Bible is Gods word read it and you will find many answers to your questions. prey to God for the rest.

Why would an all-knowing god feel the need to test anything? And why is faith a good thing in the first place? Is faith not the wilful suspension of reason in the absence of evidence? Why would anyone extol faith as a virtue if they were not a charlatan? The truth requires no faith, my friend.

They too will listen to my voice, and there shall be one flock and one shepherd” like I said before we are all Gods children those over the passages of time that stayed loyal and worshiped God are the Jews and everyone else are gentiles. Christians which is what I am are gentiles. Anyone not Jewish are gentiles. When he said that, like I said before he was testing her. if you read or look up similar passages in the bible you'll find many passages that are similar, support and prove this. its all about context. +Pomme843 What he does in Matthew 15:21-28 is test her faith. The Jews were his people because they never strayed from his path. but we are still Gods children. this is why God blessed the Jews, and why Jesus came to die on the cross for everyone's sins. If we believe, worship, follow his teachings, and have faith then we are his children. Jesus tested her and found her to have great faith. those who have strayed from Gods path, from Jesus are lost sheep. And Jesus is our shepherd. we must have faith in our shepherd and follow him. im believing more and more of fukushima doin this. alot of dead marine life has been washin ashore on the western seaboard lately. also 2 crafts from that even have also beached themselves also. if the boats arrived, then you know good and well the fukushima waters have also.

Awe....He just said that since all the these rare deep water sharks have been caught recently, fishermen must be casting their nets lower looking for fish. Implying that we are over fishing the oceans, and maybe effects of Fukushima.
