+ForeverHawk Personal favourite doesn't mean it's actually good in general! But I enjoy watching number 3 as well yea, even tho less than part 1 but it's an continuation of part 1. For me both movies represent the 80's and early 90's highschoollife in the US (even though I've never been in the US before and I was exactly 1yo when KK1 came out) but it's like an HALO-effect. Somewhat magical time and place with the setting and music, the bonsai trees, that garden, the cars, the fact that 16yo girls weren't dressed like skanks with too much makeup (alltho I can enjoy that nowadays tho).I've only seen the Smith and Jackie Chan one only half on tv, but it totally raped the title of this legendary 80's film.
+Bo Udomkaew it depends on individual I use it for street and I try to see what would work. Sometimes I do think I am a samurai. When I'm doing Aikido by reality this is a modern world. Love to hear that you are in a Aikido. It is a peaceful art.
I prefer Aikido now. Never try karate yet. Just Aikido for nearly 1 year as a basic self defense and i think i like it. More interesting for me than Tae Kwon Do that i used to be in class just 3 times and never go again. Anyway, im just in basic class not have good skill enough to defense anybody.
+Bo Udomkaew Aikido it's very different is all about repetition. And it can get frustrating especially with the partner and always expect you to do it correctly over and over again karate you have, to be kicking and punching you block in many different movements with the body.... Built Strength Like kata. Aikido you don't build strength you feel movement .You can work on your own what you need a wooden sword to use. Karate build strength aikido is also voiding not to get hit or be punched .you can block to throw someone . If I was going to choose I would just pick both is good. I say karate is more fun. If you want an art that's complete is Aiki jujitsu ...

Because I found an article that says that Lex Luthor finds a way to take away either all or some of Superman's powers, basically having it where the player has to work their way to gaining all the powers just like you would getting Batman's gadgets. As for the other heroes, the only downsides are that some heroes like Flash and Green Lantern would be having to pick out which one, while all the ones with powers is how to make them start off strong enough without making them seem too strong. That and the fact that DC would actually have to come out with more original stories for most of the heroes, especially the ones that were mainly background then having anything to do with the story itself. The only stories you hear most about on DC are Superman and Batman, and now, with DC following Marvel's approach towards a JL movie, whatever they come up with along the way.
Sorry hadn't seen the last bit of your comment. I don't get why everyone thinks Superman would have to lose his powers and gain them back through the story....you could start out with ALL of his powers, because he's Superman, but each upgrade makes them way more effective and gives him new moves and combos. Just like the Batman games do just replace gadgets with superpowers. As for combat, his enemies could be primarily Supervillains and aliens, with the occasional bank robbery or other petty crime to give you that classic superhero no bullets can hurt me feeling. ''Be the Man of Steel''. He's only OP if the story has made him that way, by not structuring it correctly. Besides it's Metropolis, practically everyone has access to Kryptonite if they've got the right connections. They've introduced Lex Luthor into the universe now, and Toyman before that. Imagine a next gen Metallo, Brainiac, Bizarro, and Parasite, each with their own storylines, with Luthor pulling all the strings as the main story unfolds, I know I heard in thug chatter in AK that he's apparently running for president as well! Plus, supporting characters! As for Green Arrow, he could work just as well. Lighter tone but they could have flashback sequences like Arrow, but only have that in common with the show. He has a LOT of trick arrows, some more spectacular than Batman's gadgets, and the core mechanics are already there....and as a side story his relationship with Black Canary could be explored. Nightwing deserves a spin off! We've already had a few teases to Bludhaven and what not, although he doesn't have many enemies, and the game could explore him trying to move on after AK. One other hero worth mentioning for a spin off game is the Flash. So many stories, so many rogues....and in any of the suggested games above they could introduce or cameo characters like Firestorm, The Atom, Green Lantern and so on. It'd be a goldmine for them and a dream come true for us
I was kinda thinking more along the lines of they either find a way of rebooting the franchise through some event similar to Flashpoint, to keeps the style and mechanics of the Arkham games, or some way through a plot to cause an event that erases everyone's knowledge of Batman's identity. Or they could go down that route you've suggested. It would be interesting to see either of those be played out tbh. Both are possible, even if mine may sound a little far-fetched, but hey, comics! I can see what you're getting at, kinda like L.A Noire but with Superheroes and a sort of Silver Age style. There's no doubt that would make a great game, but if it did ever get made there would almost definitely be a Justice League game first. It's just how Publishers think. Batman, Superman, the Flash, they all sell, without a doubt. The JSA, to them, is unknown territory. But I've always loved the idea of most of their members being in a videogame, and hey, Ted Grant makes a cameo in AK, in a poster for a fight with that joker infected boxer guy, so anythings possible! Zatanna and Constantine exist in the game's universe too, so magic also exists, hello Doctor Fate!
Unless they have Batman do some things for the Justice League under the radar. But it would be nice if they did a reboot that was similar to JL The New Frontier to where they go back to say, 30s, 40s, at least back to the early days, kind of like do the history of DC comics so to speak, that helps build up towards the JSA, with the original Flash and Green Lantern, and the JLA. Kind of get to experience what the heroes were like when technology was either on the down low or just part of some kind of science fiction before the idea of computers came to life.Right now, even if Arkham would be a good foundation for other games, the main problem is how do you make something better then the Batman version? Because with Superman, from what I hear, he loses his powers and has to regain them, and I'm hoping it does way better then the one that came out on the N64. And even if they tried to use say, Green Arrow or some other hero that doesn't have powers, or even a Nightwing or Red Robin spinoff, DC and Rocksteady would really have to step up their game.Side note, doubt Jason Todd would ever become the next Batman considering that he is the only one of the group to have too much blood on his hands and his approach is more like the Punisher.
Yeah I was referring to Jason/Red Hood because he now has become that character just like in the comics, and as such is one member of the rather large Bat Family. With this in mind the ending doesn't work the same way it could for Nolan's trilogy, as in his films there was only Batman (I'm not including Cop Robin). Some of the DLC is said to be chapters for each of his ''key allies'' to expand their storylines, and is supposed to take place both before and AFTER the events of Arkham Knight. So I'm hoping that what they're planning to do is through this either depict their version of Battle for the Cowl, which is where several of Batman's closest allies went into a dilemma on who should be the next Batman after Bruce Wayne's apparent death at the hands of Darkseid, even though he didn't actually die in the end. What I'm saying is that Dick, Tim and Barbara would understandably be like 'wtf Bruce where are you?!' because from the dialogue between those three and Batman it was hinted that only he and Alfred knew about the Knightfall protocol. Obviously they'll know he wouldn't kill himself and Alfred but they will still not know what's really happened to Bruce. And some of the other DLC featuring Batman will possibly be set after Arkham Knight as well, and I've seen a couple of reviews where speculation is currently running with the idea that Rocksteady have told their ending, and will through one way or another hand the reigns of this franchise over to another developer, because if WB did just reboot it, let's face it, the gameplay would be the same if not a huge step down, and we could even end up with (God forbid) movie tie in games all over again. They have the opportunity to use the Arkham games as a springboard to create a DC videogame universe of sorts, and yes I agree if they make other superhero games and/or a Justice League game eventually, I want the full roster, and either some nods to the Justice Society, or full on characters appearing like Doctor Fate and Hawkman! Of course all my dreams could come crashing down and they act like complete morons by not doing this and leaving us dedicated fans without brilliant videogames featuring heroes other than Batman. I do love Batman, but come on, give other heroes a shot!
Jason became the Red Hood, and the only people left would be Azrael or Nightwing deciding to take over, or still Bruce Wayne, but since people still thinks he is dead, except for a select few like the Justice League, then he can still be Batman without any worries. Besides, if they did do a Justice League based off of the Arkham series, I would like to see them bring in the same amount of heroes on the Justice League cartoons, not just the usual suspects you would expect to see in the live hero shows like Smallville, Arrow, and the upcoming movies. Even bring in the JSA for a nice touch.
Yeah I know exactly what you mean. The thing is though the game's full ending didn't give any of us complete closure. It was too open ended for a finale. Like TDKR's made sense. And at the end of Harry Potter for example we saw all the main characters as adults with full lives and kids. That was closure. This just....wasn't. We don't know who that Batman was, I know it was probably Bruce but with Jason, Azrael, the 'Knightfall Protocol' and the fact that people like Zatanna and the Flash apparently exist in that universe, it felt more like the ending of one saga and the beginning of another, instead of a true finale. I hope that made sense and apologies for its length XD
Except that they would have to do a major rewrite since the world knows who Batman really is and the fact that he is still dealing with the stuff that got put into him in Arkham, like the Titan formula and the demon's blood. The hardest part for DC would be to make sure they aren't copying the movie approach when it comes to Justice League.
True but this is a series based on comic book lore instead of films based in ''realism''. Plus I can't see WB letting the franchise go permanently, the 6 months of DLC convinces me of that. And if they were going to make the game-verse more insular like the Nolan films then there was no point in putting in so many references to characters outside of Batman's world like Superman and Green Arrow. That is world building stuff right there. Batman will be back one way or another. Of course this is just my opinion.
Agreed. Hopefully all the DC Universe Easter eggs and references in Arkham Knight are a clear sign for what's to come in the near future, especially with the upcoming films as well!

Movie to Video Game Review -- Charlie and the Chocolate Factory (PC)
Movies To Video Games Reviews Review #10 Charlie and the Chocolate Factory for the Personal Computer (PC) is fully reviewed and analyzed as compared to ...
The book: Square Candies That Look Round. Ya know, the ORIGINAL by Roald
Dahl. It stands to reason that if they couldn't get Depp, they also weren't
able to get someone like Elfman (for music). Perhaps since it's a
CHILDREN'S film, the game was designed to be easy. As a fan of ALL the
creations (even the candy), I like the designs a lot. btw, you're expecting
something done by Willy Wonka to make complete sense? ;p Nuts, I was hoping
you'd show that elevator scene.
I played both the console version (PS2 and Gamecube) and the GameBoy
Advance versions. Both seemed pretty good, though the GBA version was a bit
easier to complete. I'm still going through the end of the 'rescue Veruca
Salt' level on the GC game. Nice to see this review. I was wondering if the
PC version was worth it or not. The animation really looks stiff. Plus, the
mini-game format really looks lame.
nice review, my friend's class is researching on Charlie and the Chocolate
Factory. By the way, those square candies are only related to the book,
"Charlie and the Chocolate Factory" by James Dahl. See, the pun to the
whole candy thing was that Willy Wonka said they were square candies that
looked 'round, as in around. But it has no point whatsoever like a filler
chapter.
Johnny Depp == good.... game == bad... That just hurts. You'd think with a
blockbuster of a game they could've spent more time developing a more
enjoyable user/player experience especially for kids or anyone. Well I am
glad to see a review vs ever playing it myself... which of course I won't
be doing... EVER.
@anax445 In the Movie, Willy's Father was a dentist and did'nt want Willy
to have a career in Candy making. Willy gets that career anyway and his
father disowns him for it. Charlie helps Willy and his father make up and
have a relationship again. For some reason, that is not in this game
version.
The PC game was indeed horrible and it took up so much memory on my
computer...ugh couldn't they pull something better out of their arss...the
Game Cube and PS2 game had better music and it made more sense compared to
the movie but they could have done so much more. It is agreed.
True enough on all points. I bow to both of you then and admit its not by
those standards. I wish I could edit the video but I can't :/. But you both
convinced me and I stand corrected. But I do enjoy the Willy Wonka Gene
Wilder movie a lot either way :) .
My family borrowed this once, and I never got past Mike Teavee's
stage...this is bad looking back on it. Great review! I will also say that
the mine part with Charlie reminds me of the games Dig Dug or Herman.
Yeah, I was gonna say that. But you can't really blame him for forgetting
that. After all, that chapter had absolutely NO relevance to ANYTHING and
could have been removed from the book entirely.
@LAKSDJFLASKJF Yes it is a remake from the first movie that came out in the
70's. Gene Wilder played Wonka in that version. And this movie and the 70's
movie were both based on the book.
good point as well but i still liked the ending of the new book...it has to
have some things not there otherwise it's jsut what u've already read about
and that can be pretty boring
Have you tried the Gamecube version? It's different and sort of like the
gameplay in Animaniacs: The Great Edgar Hunt, only it's much much easier to
complete.
