disagree, this is pure functional class - every car tries to reinvent the wheel with their interior instead of going for less is more - this interior is beautifully simple to me - compared to honda accord, which has 4 stacks of controls, 3 screens that display redundant info, and no intuitive layout

2015 Hyundai Genesis Coupe 3.8 – Redline: Review
Often overlooked by better known nameplates in the segment, Hyundai's stylish and attractive Genesis Coupe offers best-in-class V6 power, a slick-shifting ...
You keep talking down on Hyundai. It's not 10 years ago anymore man when
Hyundai was pure shit. They really turned over a new leaf, and this car
shows it in every single way. You're just being way too picky....chill.
+Alexandre Boucher a good choice i assume. how is it driving? im looking to get one too.
2017 Hyundai Elantra: First Look
The redesigned 2017 Hyundai Elantra is revealed at the LA Auto Show. The hottest selling Hyundai gets new styling inside and out, new engines, and a new ...
My thoughts exactly ... Ford Fusion and Camry all the way through on the front but it borrows from its much more expensive sibling, the Genesis in the back.
Awful, I HATE IT. I love the previous model and I will be trading it for a
2016 limited. I'd never buy this crappy-looking poor copy of so many other
cars though. Everything that was special about the 2011-1016 is gone! The
outgoing model design was amazing, every little detail pointed to a car in
movement and it's still selling well. Whatever happened to if it's not
broken, don't fix it, Hyundai? You could've refined the current model and
make it even more attractive, this one looks like a Russian car from the
80's. Disgusting! Bad move Hyundai! I like the alloy wheels design, that's
it...
+jaysorbet I just checked "truecar.com" & the Elantra SE starts at $3,130 off MSRP, then as you add options, the discount gets more substantial. I would wait for the new one to get all the advanced safety systems like the Genesis, a quieter ride, better quality interior & more standard features than the 2016. This car will be competing at the top of its class. It's boils down to personal choice. Will you be happy, paying off a 2016 in 4-5 years, which will look outdated then or a 2017, which will still have the "in" look?
+CarnorJast1138 Every 6 or 7 years, cars start a new "generation." Change is inevitable & in most cases, good. We hated the "newest" gen 3 series BMW's when they omitted the beloved 6 cyl, gave them fours AND at the same time, increased the pricing!!! You cannot compare cars to their own predecessors. The comparison must be done against the current models, I.e. other 2016's and '17's. Once you settle down & do this, you'll find many things to like! Otherwise, buy yourself a spare '16 Elantra, as they're being heavily discounted (around $4,000 or so off) to clear for the new generation.
+Elle Gee Hyundai has decided to make the smart choice and market their vehicles to the masses (more profit). Which means making them more in-line to satisfy the broadest range of people. That is why they are making their designs less unique. In my opinion this Elantra is 100 times better than the 2016 in appearance. That's why they dulled down the Sonata, it was just the Elantra's turn now. But really a Russian car from the 80's? That's a bit much. You know damn well this is way nicer looking than that.
+Elle Gee I agree 100%!!! I have a 2016 Elantra and LOVE it! The exterior and interior are what made it SO distinctive compared to this model! The narrator even said it looks and has styling that mimic its larger brother, the Sonata, and to me the nose is too Corolla like for my taste! I will stick with my 2016 for as long as I can because THAT is what an Elantra is supposed to look like!
Sam,
Good video as usual, but people are incorrect when they say that plastic
materials made from soybean oil are “Earth friendly”. This is hype because
you do far more damage to the environment when you grow soybeans for
plastic than when you make the plastic out of oil. Think of all the oil,
natural gas, and coal needed to farm and process soybeans, and all the
groundwater, farmland, fertilizer, and pesticides we use. Biofuels and food
based plastics are far less energy efficient than products made from oil
and they raise the cost of food. Even the federal government’s own National
Research Council found that corn ethanol and soybean biodiesel cause more
greenhouse gas emissions than using ordinary gasoline. Google *The
Renewable Energy Disaster* webpage and the YouTube video, *The Global
Biofuel Disaster*, for the real facts.
