Joseph Campbell--Mythology of the Trickster

Hell yeah, Yahweh as a trickster! That makes him a much more interesting
deity. I mostly think of Yahweh as a serious, jealous, moody, and kind-of
dickish god.
And violent, unpredictable. He tries to kill Moses in an inn (Exodus 4:24) but he leaves Moses alone after what the wife Zipporah does to their son with a sharp stone. I would not mess with Zipporah!
+LoveChipbreak Shit dude have you ever talked to someone about something you feel really passionate about before? Tends to wind me quickly too, it's so invigorating
+LoveChipbreak I don't believe in a devil, other than as a metaphor for the darkness of the human spirit. Man seeks to find sources of 'evil' outside of himself, when the full potential lies within.
+LoveChipbreak I don't have a definition for 'black arts' other than that which came from western judeo-christian indoctrination. Joseph Campbell would have inspected every element of folklore his time and resources would permit.
Anyone who openly professes again the G-d head is automatically into the occult...its by default...you can only go two ways...and resistance is kind of futile going against the creator G-d. You are either for him or against him...and if you are against him you are in a world of dark arts by default
+Lord Rat 'dumbyank' FinkWhat are the 'black arts' I keep hearing about that he dabbled in? It seems to me from reading his body language that he did indeed make some deals with the devil. I'm just curious what sort of black arts he dabbled in.
+David Keller I'll have to google that. I was worried you going to tell me he dabbled in the 'black arts'. I'm sure he checked out everything because that was the nature of his questing spirit. In many of those things there's the danger of not returning fully intact.
+Lord Rat 'dumbyank' Fink someone should learn about his horrible passing...its very interesting....he like many dabblers...regretted his work and died a horrible untimely death.
This is his manor-ism. He digs deep and thinks ahead before he talks (too rare to even recognize these days). The only thing he has pent up is a wealth of knowledge, he does seem to struggle a bit, at other times he may stop for moments, but he is a master of his domain and always presents things in the most wonderful way.
If I remember correctly, he died shortly after appearing in this series of interviews.
White Horse Appaloosa Colt foal Western Newborn
Video shows a white horse and its colt. The colt is newborn. The colt runs and jumps. The other horses watch it. Appaloosa Horse foal running track run jump ...
You are almost correct. There is no such thing as a "white" horse. Also,
there are no albino horses. Usually if albinism occurs the foal dies before
it's born and before fully developed. Usually is aborted I believe. Grey
horses appear "white" in color but have black skin. Cremellos and perlinos
have pink skin and are both off white in color and are genetically
different. Then there can be horses with maximum white patterns that look
completely solid but are actually just have color covered.
@DustFingerFireDancer There are white horses. They are 'Dominant White'
Genetically tested they are always Heterozygous (Ww) since White is lethal
in the homozygous form like frame overo is. Also, maximum white sabinos can
be all white, and of course a Lethal white overo is all white, but they die
within days of birth. You are right about albinos though; there are NO
albino horses. The vast majority of white horses we see are greys that have
completed the greying process.
@DustFingerFireDancer Oops, I read it wrong the first time... there are NO
albino horses. Perlino and Creamello (double cream dilutes) can be mistaken
for albino due to their blue eyes and very pale skin along with white or
nearly white coat (especially creamello) but they are not albino; their
base color is red. Perlinos can even be homozygous for black and are always
at least heterozygous for black; meaning their base color is black even
though they appear nearly white.
@DustFingerFireDancer There's no "white" or "albino". you can have Perlino,
cremello, Extensive Sabino, Maximum overos, tobianos, Certain appaloosa
typs and greys. There's probably more "White horses". People will say there
are "White" horses, only because they probably havent had their horses
genetically tested. Some Tb's that are born white are extensive sabino, as
tbs cary that, and some are overos/sabino that can be extensive, maximum,
or lethal white.
No such thing as a white horse-they die if they are upon birth or before.
No, what you call white horses are actually grey or different types of
pintos and cremellos and such. White horses have something wrong with them
on the inside, which is why they die. Something genetic. White is pretty
much the same as albino-death.
@WolfeGirl1 You're thinking of lethal white syndrome. Horses with dominant
white gene are perfectly fine and truly white. If you look for the horse
Yukichan, you'll see that she's actually white. Her skin isn't pigmented
like a light grey's would be.
There is no such thing as a "white" horse. The mare in the video is a
leopard Appaloosa, her spots are just on her skin. Her fur is grey. There
are albino horses with pink skin and blue eyes, but still, not white.
@DustFingerFireDancer incorrect. They do have white horses. very rare. but
they are white. like the 7 racehorses that have been white... yes white,
not cremello or perlino or albino. there white.
is that really a white horse? my teacher told me that if you find any
blemishes or dark spots on any part of its skin it is not considered as
white but gray.

Yes, living in the moment is essential for peace for me, when I wake I find
my mind reeling with the past, I have to consciously stop my thoughts and
focus on the now, then peace returns. I hope the change is in our life time
as well. I find a great comfort in this even if the birth pains are strong
and painful. Apparently, that's what it takes for beautiful new things to
emerge. Peace to you and thanks for the videos, they explain things so well
for me and give me great comfort. Gypsy
The mind is essential to prepare, but some places may not feel right. I
tend to the concept of living in the moment, which means that i respond at
the moment of change. Living outside of the moment, changes the nature of
being. This can lead to a fear based reality, that way of being now does
not suite my life. I must add this, change may be sudden or gradual …I
suppose no one truly knows the hour and day this will occur or even if it
will occur in my lifetime,
Thank You Paul, when you said we need to prepare for it, what did you mean?
Are we to prepare our minds and understanding alone, or is there more
preparation that needs to be done?
I wanted to watch this video but after five minutes of your long winded
introduction about yourself i surmised that you must be welsh and gave up
