@aligzanduh If history teaches us anything, it is people learn by
experience. But experience teaches us that people have only one thing on
their mind..Which is, "What's in it for me" so what we have here is a clear
conflict of interest. On one hand Sirte is under sedge, which is a well
proven method of breaking down resistance, thereby avoiding death on both
sides.. On the other hand, we have these Do-Gooder's who may mean well,
but cannot see the trees for the forest, and just prolonging it
@aligzanduh You raise a lot of issues which can be debated forever. I'd
like to know where you got you figure of 50,000 dead in Libya though,
because even the UN has no published estimate. Suspension of The Bill Of
Rights? Youre lucky you've got one, most countries don't have any
protection against tyrannic governments turning on it's own people. Syria
is a case in point. However, if they start restricting GUN ownership in the
US while the suspension is still in place, watch out for Marshall Law
@Czechmate1967 I have gone to the effort of posting my references in the
comments section- which are credible and widely reported - and as much as
possible the originating eye witness professional pro western journalists -
defenders of the invasion - who also occasionaly criticize the NATO
intervention - primarily by attacking the Rebels and pretending NATO is not
the real culprit. Please tell me which of this sources is not credible. I
think you do not want to convince me of your view -but try
@Czechmate1967 Dude - I have a grip. Its the 99% of the people who do
nothing as conditions deteriorate who need to get a grip. You wont tell me
your point of view you just keep atttacking my character. I dont just do
youtube. I go to meetings once in a while. I contact my representatives. I
talk to people in the street. All I want is for people to be free. And free
of fear. I try to make friends with my enemies. People who are passionate
about changing the world are people that can be allies.
@aligzanduh The only regime that's being emboldened by violence, is Basha
Al-Assad of Syria, who is desperate to smash all decent, while the world is
preoccupied with Libya's struggle for democracy. But allow me to put things
perspective: ..All through history, there's been countless battles where
20-40,000 were hacked to death in a single day.Today however, the world
lives in relative peace, but because of the internet and instant
communications, we mistakenly think the world is falling apart
@phoenix11994466 That is certainly a valid point of view. The sooner the
loyalists stop resisting the sooner people stop dying. However there are
problems with this scenario too. To quote the neo-cons - it would
'embolden' those who prefer violence to diplomacy. If you have any time I
made a new video Libya Conflict Analysis Historical Factors and possible
outcomes. Right now the power structures controlling Libya have more people
in prison for their political views >10,000 than all prsnrs b4
@Czechmate1967 and finally - i have no objection to Libyans seeking freedom
- from a state that failed to give people a constitution or true rights -
treating them as almost children in some ways. However all this bloodshed
MIGHT have been avoided - if the Loyalists had been treated with dignity.
Playing the game with this amount of rage and animosity - is not in the
long term interests of people IMHO - starving a city - and arresting those
fleeing - is disgusting. killing from above is also
@Czechmate1967 What is your view of what is going on in Sirte. 1) Were the
Intl agencies and or NATO and the TNC violating law and ethics - by
starving out the city ? 2) Were the Western Powers bound by writing their
own proposal UN 1973 - and then violating it by supporting one side - and
refusing to live by its spirit did they destabilize international peace -
such as it is ? 3) Are the TNC military units arresting people for their
beliefs or family ties ? And how do you view these events?
@aligzanduh What is a FACT? News reports are simply interpretations and
opinions, and like all opinions are influenced by OTHER peoples points of
view, which in turn are influenced by personal bias and prejudice... FACTS
can only be established in a Court of Law, where opinions are rejected as
mere hear-say. Cialdini, author of INFLUENCE, says: "Opinions are based on
peoples bias & prejudices, but once stated, they will defend that opinion
just to stay CONSISTENT with their original choice"
@phoenix11994466 On a philosophical level - the human beings existance is
subjective - knowledge - is simply the number of layers of ignorance one
has removed. But on a practical level - the ICRC saying they cannot get
into Sirte to provide food and water - is let us say a reasonable enough
statement - that one can consider it credible. I hope by raising my voice -
to get the West to realize - that we could have aided Libya in gaining
greater freedom - by thinking - instead of killing
@phoenix11994466 The US has been the only country to invade any country
since the end of the cold war and in Iraq nearly 1 million died, i dont
have figures for afghanistan - and in Libya almost 50,000 have died.
Additionally due to the larding of money on NSA DHS and DOD we have driven
our own poverty rate up to nearly 20% - these are all complicated issues -
but I do not see it as such a peaceful place - also consider the suspension
of our bill of rights by the patriot act.
@phoenix11994466 For me Libya was the straw that broke the camels back. I
did nothing about Iraq. I did nothing about Afghanistan. I worked hard to
elect Obama. I feel completely betrayed. I believe this all could have been
achieved through dialog - or at least we could have tried. You watch how
India, China and many other countries will handle the US - as the balance
shifts - this is an unwise policy. I ask you for a ceasefire. I officially
give up on arguing with you!
@aligzanduh First of All nothing last forever, second of all seeing the all
situation, Obama and the rest of the fools, entered in deep shit with Libya
invasion. Gaddafi resistance till now means, Obama will be sacrifice. I
will not be surprize to see him in jail , 90 % i believe Obama role is a
peon to be sacrifice,( another planed movement so the broke ass masses to
feel better.) so that the '' can'' be kicked more. Sad is the civilians die
in this criminal games.
@phoenix11994466 And have you heard the press talk about using Libya as a
template:? Or the tut tuting that Europe is not spending enough money on
military? We live in an age where if the US would lead on arms cuts - we
could probably slash global arms expenditures - US is 47% of military
spending in world w 5% worlds population. With respect - I know a lot of 50
somethings who once they lose their job - feel like they are finished.
@qpae123 A lot of people just dont know what to do. Voting doesnt work. So
people FB and YT. I am thinking about a way for each of our actions to
actually contribute to a set of global milestones of giving people the
power. But basically it would be something like a internet movement
coalition framework that has a software plugin for different coalitions to
form -
@aligzanduh It sounds like you've taken on the conscience of the entire
world, you'd better get a grip or you are going to drive yourself crazy. I
suggest you start writing a book about your worries, as a way of release of
your stress. I'm not sure which category your publisher would choose, it
would definitely have to be fiction I would think.
@aligzanduh And I learned at my research job - and other places - that any
time you study a subject - if your view does not change - you have probably
learned nothing - if we invested our money in science & research - I
believe most people would have constantly improving views - of course
certain fundamental principles might not change.
Dear friend Beni Walidi having a clear protest. Serti correct " Help air
drops Now Now Now !!!! please talk to neighbor World snipers coverge on
Libya Nato & rebels are taking hugh causlities. War over Nato wil l need
Nucler to hide Loss Beware Nato uses False Flag Elect Randy Franck Tea Pot
Partea Republican President of USA
@aligzanduh And I would say our country has eroded and rotted - perhaps as
much or more - than Libya - we were not under constant pressure from a
larger adversary - which meant that a security state was likely to be
intensified - we chose to create a massive police state here - we had no
such pressure - the people are sheep
Arest all American , french , english Nato pilots and generals that signed
the agresion , that bombed civilians , then u can call urself civilized
country, till then ur nothing more then criminal scums, and compare to u
now Gaddafi is a Hero ! U dont Know how shitty West image is now , and that
seen from East Europe.
@Czechmate1967 And finally - as much as you may dislike Gadaffi - I find
him a fascinating figure - perhaps someday - and if you are Libyan - you
will take a mixture of dislike and also to marvel - at this unusual figure
- who was impelled by a big heart - although perhaps a ruthless narcissist
You should watch my video coverage of the Siege of Sirte. I also personally
helped process huge convoys of refugees. All throughout the battle they
were moving. They were provided food and water, sometimes by myself.
'Tibbie Maya?' was one of my favorite lines.
@Czechmate1967 Additionally I met with the entire ANC leadership here in
the Bay Area - my business partner was a Zambian Indian - and was very cool
about them - so at the time - I was actually somewhat neutral. I failed to
recite their anthem. :-(
@Czechmate1967 I speak 6 languages poorly - read 3 additional - have worked
with people in 34 african countries approximately , and have spent over 2
years abroad in 28 countries in Asia Europe and South America
says a smashed redneck in his fucking garage- jeezus Gaddaffi doesn't half
attract the fuckinSo g tinfoil hat wearers. When were you ever in Africa or
outside of your shitpot flyover hick state?
@Czechmate1967 Additionaly - rather than demonizing and charicaturing
people - you might simply point out what is wrong in my report. Your
comments speak more about yourself than anyone else.
New York Times has video footage of me processing refugees at Kubre. I
think. Their cameraman saw me, at least, even if t hey didn't get footage
of me doing it.
@phoenix11994466 I respect your opinion. I will now stop the debate. As the
talking heads say "Please RE-spect my opinions - THEY WILL be respected
some...DAY"
@phoenix11994466 Also - the 20th century took the cake for murder as im
sure you know. USSR, PRC, Cambodia, Germany, WWI - probably over 200
million people....
