Nope, it is unnecessary software, which wants to be bought by people coming from Windows using similar maintenance software. No need for it on Mac OS X, and if you really want to do something the system does for you on a daily, weekly and monthly basis, you can always use Onyx, it is free and has a very good reputation.

Actually you mac is good, but the scan is fake so you can buy it, it slows down your mac and you become their slave :) 

They pay for that. be careful.it always comes up as a fake review. go to apple.com and read about it

CleanmyMac is legit.. makkeeper is a fraud . malaware

The best way to do it.. little snitch, or do it f4om your terminal, also firewall should be set on on and in the advanced options. add mackeeper

It is a malaware. actually it fucks up the system then fixes it then doing it again then fixing it , gives you false report.. in aother word.. iy highjack your Mac so you can depend on them. A malaware always pops up in your mac... Mackeeper do that :)

Saying "The Trojan Virus" simply illustrates the many viruses in this category, and yes, trojan viruses can infect macs, but not very easily.
