Are u a complete prat? You make reference 2 Hillsborough, showing no respect & then on your channel page you have a tribute to the Munich disaster. Had Man City fans disrespected the minute's silence last week, Man Utd fans would have been up in arms & calling them every name under the sun. How'd u feel if it was 1 of ur family who died at a football ground & you had 2 read people abusing & disrespecting their memory just because you don't like their team? It's pathetic, childish & moronic!

Alono was angry, embarrassed and the last thing he wanted was the goalscorer in his face within seconds of the final whistle asking for his shirt. At least he realised his mistake and exchanged shirts, I can think of a lot of players who wouldn't have done that. Also, The Liverpool fans stayed behind to applaud Barnsley, how many other fans would have done that? They were dissapointed but still showed respect to Barnsley at the final whistle, its a shame more fans are not like that.

Very honourable of you to post this. I am a Barnsley fan and I am willing to concede that nine times out of ten Liverpool would have won this game but thats the beauty of football and why the game is still so great. I have my ticket for Wembley and only hope we dont fail against Cardiff cos after all we have done the hard work already......surely ?

For all those slagging off Alonso, you have to remember that was his instant reaction straight after the whistle after a couple of Barnsley players wanted his shirt. A minute or two later he was shown shaking hands with several players and I also read somewhere that ALL the Liverpool players had a drink with the Barnsley players after the game.

o god i remember this game. i was gutted to see that we lost, but i must say, this is the beauty of the fa cup and carling cup, to see the lower leagues come up against the big teams and give us a go. congrats to barnsley, they fully deserve it. i must admit i was going mad at full time, but without the smile that phil thompson is forcing...

great reult for tykes but against chelsea they cant win as chelsea get too lucky too often. as aman u fan i wud love to see barnsley win and set up adream fa cup with devils -revenge for the devils at last from 10 year ago. please god favour against chelsea for once and give their opposition a few deflected goals.

This is pure TV heaven! I was in the pub when this happened, we could hear Matt Le Tissier shouting about a penalty and then what happened after was brilliant! Pure magic! Jeff Stelling is great to watch. Boo to the Liverpool player who wouldn't swap shirts with the goal scorer though - a bad loser.

Yeah it was when Watford scored two. If you go to my channel it's on there also. Although they were mainly laughing at Merson rather than going mad at the goal, because he predicted they wouldn't get back into the game.

For your information, Alonso did not do that. If you see that clip ends with Alonso beginning to take off his shirt. Afterwards you can see Howard holding a Liverpool shirt.
