Are there any production music library experts out there who can advise of
the title and writer of this theme music, and from which library? It was
ubiquitous in some other areas, such as WCAU-TV Philadelphia's "Eye On" in
the '70's and WOR-TV New York's "New York Islanders Hockey" games in the
early '80's.
@wmbrown6 wow! You just read my mind (3 months ago) with the Islanders
hockey WOR reference. I wonder if the music isn't just a generic audio
"cart" that various stations could play over whatever video they chose. Do
you have any copies of the Islanders intro?
@jpwjr1199 - Wish I did, it was online a long time ago but disappeared when
its poster did. But it does sound like a British production music piece
circa 1969-70, and was indeed ubiquitous.

It's great to see these old shows. I grew up in NW Indiana and it brings
back a lot of memories. I think Mike would find it interesting today the
amount of people that made the move from Illinois to Indiana during the
housing boom. I know in my old neighborhood which is just outside of Gary,
many of the cars have Illinois plates. The commute for them is worth the
inconvenience.
