Went to the gun show this morning, and was greeted by this. Bear in mind that the end of the line is still around two more corners behind me, and i still have to ...
Islamofascist-enabling Ron Paul? I would like to hear some evidence to back
this statement! Does introducing sound money enable Islamofascism? Does
stop killing muslims enable Islamofascism? Does securing the borders of
america enable Islamofascism? Does preventing a recession, or even worse, a
depression, enable Islamofascism? Does decreased government and increased
personal liberty enable Islamofascism??? Are you so afraid of the ghost
that you'd give away all your liberties? Shameful and sad.
So let me get this straight. If a leader of a powerful nation such as the
USA, with the ability to annihilate every living thing, commanding the most
destructive arsenal, is delusional, that's just fine? Ron Paul denies the
fact of Evolution, as most extreme theists do, because it messes with his
delusion. Having a delusional President is unconsitutional. A president
should be of sound mind and body to be able to do the job, upholding the
Constitution. Trumps the "no religious test" in my book.
@sfiorare And his vote on the spending bill? Against. If my constituents
are going to get taxed into oblivion to pay for spending, I've got a
responsibility to try to get some of the stolen funds back; ideally the
bill des. If you can't change the system you can't ignore it. No politician
is completely honest, but he's a damn sight more ethical, intelligent, and
honest than the cretin-in-chief. If you're going to attack Paul for
hypocrisy, I'm sure your even more outraged at Obama's. Right?
Ron Paul is on public record saying he doesn't 'believe' in Evolution.
Denying a fact makes one delusional, especially considering when someone
has been shown the evidence and they still deny facts. Anyone in power
should not be so delusional. It's that simple for me, maybe not you. I
could care less what he believes as a religious person. It doesn't change
my feelings on the matter. The office of President of the USA should not be
filled by a delusional person, it's dangerous, like Bush.
Democrats and Republicans have been running the government for more than
150 years. Either the screwed up way things are is the way they want them
to be, or they are pathetically incompetent, or more likely, they are
corrupt to the core. They are nothing but two criminal organizations
competing for the same turf. If you want to see change in America, do not
vote for Democrats or Republicans. If they are the only choices, always
vote against the incumbent in the primary. Vote them out.
He has won over more and more as the lemmings awaken. If you have any
respect for yourself and you and a large part of the population go take a
look at what he has done there is no doubt in my mind he will be president.
The truth is a powerful message. People don't want to be slaves and once
they realize that they are it will all change. Maybe his son Rand or Peter
Schiff will make the leap in his absence but he has carried the torch of
freedom with valor and virtue for a long time.
@sfiorare You seem to be a little confused on the distinction between
legislation which takes from one person and gives to another (Katrina aid)
versus legislation to extend home-buyer tax credits (Ike-related bill
you're referring to) which lets a person keep more of the money that is
already legally and morally theirs. As far as being in a district that gets
the most dollars from Washington, how does that make him a hypocrite? Paul
earmarks for his district? zero.
Who said I follow or like Obama? Even his level of religiosity is too much
for this guy. I said at least he is less delusional than Paul. Obama is
still full of woo. Unfortunately, to be able to get elected in USA, you
need to worship sky daddy, which shows how stupid this country really is. I
face these ignoramuses every day in my science class. They are so
brainwashed, they won't question the cult of zombie worship even when shown
the evidence to the contrary. Sad
@Anschutzhammerlitoz - all excuses aside it's extremely hypocritical, just
like when ron paul spoke against funding new orleans after katrina, but
didn't speak against taking federal funds after hurricane ike or like ron
paul opposing big government, but consistently being the in the top
legislative districts that take the most dollars from washington; he's one
of the most deceitful politician in the country
@sfiorare Unfortunately, term limits are only useful if they get applied to
everyone. It's the usual situation where those who would behave honorably
(i.e., leave after some specified period of time) would be abandoning the
field to the miscreants and thieves. It's sort of like saying "I don't like
violence" and therefore letting a thug beat the cr@p out of you without
resisting.
@Anschutzhammerlitoz - Paul played a role in obtaining 22 earmarks worth
$96.1 million, which led the Houston congressional delegation, according to
a Houston Chronicle analysis of more than 8,500 congressionally mandated
projects inserted into the bill. His earmarks included repair projects to
the Galveston Seawall damaged by Hurricane Ike and the Gulf Intracoastal
Waterway.
@Anschutzhammerlitoz - ron paul says he votes no on everything, but he
knows that the bills pass; it's dishonest; disingenuous and deceitful; i
don't know of any politician that is as corrupt as ron paul; what happened
to all that bomb money from the 2008 campaign? i guess the federal election
commission wants to know, too; they are now investigating both ron and rand
paul
Im not a ron paul supporter but The whole reason of the second amendment
was to create a checks and balance against the federal government. Because
i Believe strongly in the constitution and the federalist papers makes me a
gun nut? So are you a freedom of speech nut? Sounds pretty stupid huh?
As a person of science, you should be able to understand that religious
people are not generally delusional, but rather, you are the offending
person in this situation. Does what Ron Paul has said about his faith hurt
you? Probably not. You can stop kidding yourself now.
"...no religious test shall ever be required as a qualification to any
office or public trust under the United States." -USA Constitution, Article
VI, section 3 Unfortunately, in their zeal to banish religion, atheists
often forget the Constitution.
@crazicracka54 Uhhhhhhhh what exactly are you talking about here? Bob Dole
won his party's nomination in 1996 while Ron Paul's campaign was quickly
derailed by the MSM as soon as he started gaining name recognition during
the last campaign season.
Rednecks At A Gunshow - Matt Davis
Despite his southern upbringing, comic Matt Davis only just went to his first Gun Show, and may have been unprepared for the level of redneckery!
Brit Floyd - Time / Breathe (Reprise) - Birmingham Alabama April 26, 2013
Brit Floyd performing Time / Breathe (Reprise) from the Pink Floyd album The Dark Side of the Moon at the Birmingham Jefferson Civic Center on April 26, 2013.

The dirt underneath tour was really a extended unplugged tour. I was
fortunate enough to see them do a 'regular' show one night and the next do
the unplugged the next, awesome. Just wish Jason was still with them then.
fortunately they're on the road again. seeing them in NC in 3 days! I
really enjoy the solo stuff that all 3 of them are putting out these days,
and I miss the days of DBT with Isbell.
