Joe Klein, "Charlie Mike"
In his seventh book, Klein, author of the legendary Primary Colors and the award-winning Time “In the Arena” columnist, tells the inspiring story of Eric Greitens, ...
I thought Nixon was about as bad as Presidents could be, and then along
came Jimmy Malaise Carter. The long march toward socialist tyrany had a
slight setback in the 1980's, but in 1989 the march continued. Saddam
Husain took over another loathsome little place called Kuwait, and became a
threat to the continuing source of the Bush family fortune (Saudi Arabia),
so Bush 41 chased him out. Inconceivably, Bush won the war and then quit
before tying up the last few loose ends. How stupid can a President be?!!
(When Alexander defeated Darius, he didn't let Darius to just go into exile
for a while to plot a comeback. He hunted him down.) The Clinton
shenanigans of the 90's were very entertaining and things just bumbled
along. It's not that Clinton didn't want to do a lot of stupid legislative
stuff, but the Gingrich was there to block him, so he just amused himself
in other ways.
Bush 43 narrowly beat a mentally unbalanced opponent in 2000 and had to
invade Afghanistan to punish the Taliban. While in the neighborhood he
thought, "What the hell! I might as well invade Iraq as well while the time
is ripe." Most people are so stupid that they thought this was all part of
the same war and still think so to this day. Saudi A and Israel and Iran
all eagerly and independently provided some manufactured evidence of
nuclear stuff and the fix was in. The US military quickly won both wars,
but then, like his father before him, Bush 43 stepped in and bungled the
end game. And then came the banking melt-down and Bush printed up $750
billion and gave it to the New York banksters. $200 billion went to
Goldman Sachs; the most culpable bank of all. Bush's Treasury Secretary
(taking care of his own interests first as always) was a former CEO of
Goldman Sachs and easily bamboozled the simple minded President who didn't
understand any of it.
In 2008 Barack Obama won the race against another Republican nominee
loser. The economy was a mess and Obama forthwith set out to make it much
worse. The events of the Obama presidency are recent enough for all to
remember. Anybody with a brain evolved above Homo Habilus should find it
indisputable that Obama has been the worst President ever. The ultra left
wing media and the sycophantic ass kissers of the New York City
intelligencia portray Obama as a messianic genius. In reality he is a
somewhat lazy man of moderate intelligence who has some talent but enjoys
the perks and peripherals and ceremony and entitlements of the Presidency
more than the work. (I do not mean to disparage laziness. I myself am far
lazier than he. I am even in favor of the Milton Friedman negative income
tax. But I am not running for President or anything else.)
Nevertheless, according to them, his god like accomplishments can only be
compared to those of Kim Jong Un of North Korea. Hillary Clinton says she
wants to continue his legacy, and the only man who may be able to stop her
is Donald Trump.
Had Donald Trump not entered the race we would be plodding along toward the
coronations of Jeb Bush and Hillary Clinton, for a face off between tweedle
dum and tweedle dummer. Business as usual. Even if Trump drops dead right
now, he has changed everything about the 2016 race. Trump is not a
conservative nor a liberal. Nor is he a Democrat or Republican. For
decades we have been on the road to stupid and Obama has shifted us into
high gear. The size of government has a directly inverse correlation with
the prosperity of a nation. Cruz has the best recipe, but Trump may be the
only one who can get us to where it can be done and then do it. The
policies of Obama/Clinton are pushing us to a tipping point where the
civilizations of the whole world degenerate into a culture of destruction,
plunder, rape, murder, war, famine, pestilence and death. This may be the
solution to the Fermi paradox.
I have only one question for Joe Klein. Obama clearly hates Jews; so why
do all of the New York City Jewish intellectuals in return love him so
much?
