You need to go back when the pass has just opened after winter. That's what we did this year and no problems being held up by slower cars. Then you can drive it properly instead of at a snail's pace.

Italian fun was better, Germany ok but theres so much more heading down to st moritiz from the top...just make sure you have very good brakes...

This was in August 2008, we had great weather from about half way down france, once you get passed that ring of cloud - pow lovely...

Great video, roads and cars. Dying to do the same trip myself next year to the ring and Stelvio pass. Which was more fun?
