Yep. But to be fair to Blake, I doubt he's even the one making the decisions, I'm pretty sure the producers pick who they want to go through, not the judges. I had a friend who worked as a production assistant on a similar "talent" show, and he basically said it's not at all what it seems. Also, to go to the live shows, the contestants have to sign these horribly unfair contracts basically signing away a percentage of any music they sell for several years (so maybe some of the really good contestants don't want to sign it?) Anyway, it's frustrating to watch the truly talented ones go home while the mediocre ones go through (and sometimes win)

Exactly... I didn't watch last year, but funny enough my sister told me to look up Cody on youtube because she watched the show. I was floored by that mans voice! Talk about a special talent, that man had something genuine that you just don't find every day... Not only did he have a signature old school sound in his lower register, but his upper register was crazy good,,, almost unheard of in country music! The fact that Blake let Cody (and Krista) go let's me know something very shady is going on on the Voice... When you choose cubic zerconian over a real diamond something is definitely amiss! Lol

Thank you! I can't believe Blake let this lady go! She was the real deal. She was old school country, but there's also some soul, rock, folk, and blues in her voice... She had a cool, real vibe about her too, nothing pageant or phony about her.
